Positives are: Bed was comfortable = 1 star Hosts were friendly and helpful (allowing me to park my motorcycle in the courtyard) = 1 star Breakfast was good = 1 star Negatives are: Shower is neither relaxing or pleasant. "Chambre choisie côté vue de la vallée. Décoration au top, accès possible aux salons de la bâtisse. les hôtes sont très sympathiques, attentifs et serviables. Le petit déjeuner était exactement ce que j aime : fruits, jus de fruits, pain, beurres au choix, confitures excellentes, thé, kfir, brioche ou madeleine. Dommage, je n ai pas pu profiter de la table d hôtes, réputée. Je compte bien revenir aux beaux jours pour profiter de la vue, de la terrasse et de la piscine également ! "

"Une nuit réservée à l'occasion du CFD, vu de l'extérieur, le lieu ne paraît vraiment pas accueillant, cela fait même un peu peur quand on vient d'arriver, l'hôte parle mal français et n'est pas tres presentable, nous ne sommes pas rassurés. Une fois quelques mots échangés et une fois rentrés dans la maison, ce n'est plus la même ambiance, l'intérieur a le charme fou d'une maison ancienne et l'hôte est très agréable. "We spent a lovely few days with Jean-Phillipe and Michelle in this very tranquil and beautiful part of rural France. Jean-Phillipe had some local wines available to sample and also has a BBQ that can be used and a games room. The swimming pool was very clean and everything very well maintained. It’s a short drive to Saumur where there are shops and restaurants and activities such as bike hire. Would recommend."
