Large & charming villa with sea views and private pool near Sorrento & Positano

Villa Delizia will captivate you from the moment you step onto the property. Set in a village near Massa Lubrense, between Sorrento & Positano, Villa Delizia, offers all the amenities of a first class holiday property including air conditioning/heating, parking and WIFI internet access. Villa Delizia can accommodate up to 22 people in 10 en-suite bedrooms - making it the perfect accommodation for large groups of family and friends and those getting married in Sorrento or the Amalfi Coast.
The villa is located in a quiet, peaceful fishing town that is near the touristic and elegant cities of Sorrento and Positano, but far enough to be away from the hustle and bustle of the tourists. The nearby bay offers amazing views and a bounty of tranquillity. There are three terraces at Villa Delizia. From the top, highest terrace, you will be immediately in awe of the vastness of the sea in front of you. Here, you can relax in the hammocks or sit in the shade of the olive trees on the grass lawn. Descend to the main terrace, where there is an outdoor dining area, complete with a barbeque, wood-burning pizza oven, and a table for up to 22 guests. There is a swimming pool (11 x 3 metres) which is open from April to October and a hot tub which overlook the bay of Marina del Cantone.
On the main terrace, there are also sunbeds, where you can catch some sun, read your favourite book or take a midday nap. You will definitely want to take advantage of the highlight of the main terrace with the most amazing views which will take your breath away. Here, just a few steps from your bedroom, there are tables for you to enjoy your morning cappuccino or an evening cocktail. The view of the coves of the local beach and the blueness of the Tyrrhenian Sea will make it very difficult for you to get up from your table. But why would you want to? Have another morning cup of coffee or glass of local wine. When you want to enjoy the quiet, local beaches, Villa Delizia is just 500 metres away, accessed by a pathway from the villa. It is also just a two-minute drive by car or scooter. There is a bus stop a few minutes' walk from the villa which connects you to Sorrento in approximately 45 minutes.
The ground floor terrace offers very similar views to the main terrace and is just a few steps from the kitchen and main dining room. Enjoy your breakfast, lunch, or dinner here. On this level, there is also a full bar and lounge with satellite TV and comfortable sofas, where you can watch international news and sporting events.
There are a total of ten rooms at Villa Delizia, which all offer a double bed, flat screen TV, wardrobe, desk, lamps and private bathroom, complete with a large walk-in shower, toilet, bidet, and hair dryer. There are four rooms on the first floor. Three of the rooms have a sea view and open up to the main terrace. One of these sea view rooms is furnished with both a double bed and a bunk bed…perfect if you are travelling with children. On the second floor, there are also four rooms. Three of the rooms on this floor have a private terrace, giving you yet another spectacular view of the sea and Sorrentine Coast. One of these rooms even has two private terraces.
On the ground floor, there are two bedrooms which offer awe-inspiring views of the sea a great way to fall asleep and wake up. Staff at Villa Delizia are always available to full fill your personal requests, whether you want to plan a romantic dinner or an Italian-style family meal. They can also help to arrange boat excursions to Capri, the Amalfi Coast, and Positano. As well as this, they can organise day trips to Pompei, Herculaneum, and Mount Vesuvius (extra charges apply). Bed linen and towels are changed weekly.
Minor housekeeping duties are performed daily by the staff of the villa at no additional cost. There is a lift inside the villa, which will take you to all the levels, as well as wheelchair access onto the main terrace. Villa Delizia will be a place of fun, relaxation and fantastic memories.

Beautiful View - Great Region - Friendly People
The property is more beautiful than pictures on this site. We enjoyed sitting out and taking in the view after dinner. The children had plenty of space outside to run around and they enjoyed the pool every day. Property is well maintained and staff is warm, friendly, helpful and inviting. The ride to Positano is about an hour and the Porto is a quick walk. The only complaint from some were that beds were too firm. O real we loved this villa.

Perfect family vacation
Beautiful property! Perfect for our family of 15 ranging from 10 to 80 years old. Amazing views, comfortable rooms, ample space for large gatherings and meals. Town of Nerano is about a 15 minute walk down the hill but not recommended for the elderly as it is a bit steep coming back up. As an alternative, there is a bus route that is easy and close to house. Staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. The town has all your basic needs and plenty of restaurant options and water activities. A few of us did some challenging and amazing hikes to Monte Costanzo, Baia di leranto, and Marina Cantone (recommend using ‘All Trails’ app or something to keep you on the trail. Couple things we would have done differently; The in home chef option that is offered is better than the food at the restaurants, we had the traditional dinner, pizza party, and Mediterranean breakfast twice and we should’ve taken advantage of this more. There is also a restaurant a few steps up the hill named “Quattro Passi” we wanted to try but needed to make reservations well in advance. If you have a big group, do not hesitate to book this property, simply amazing. Thank you Vittoria, Francesca, and Carmine, we will be back!

Amalfi Heaven
Absolutely magical! Will not disappoint. Many stairs for the elderly at the villa but there is an elevator . There is an industrial kitchen with lots of great appliances. Management goes out of it's way to accommodate.Cleaning crew is fantastic. Only concern isthe Amalfi area is not easily walkable for anyone with a disability.

Incredible
We had THE greatest time during our stay. Alfonso, Carmine, and Francesca were well-prepared for us and took great care to ensure we had a fantastic stay. While we did book several outings in advance, they helped coordinate impromptu trips, taxi rides, etc. The property itself was incredibly well-suited to hosting a large group, with comfortable and private rooms laid out perfectly and the dining/living area was perfect for group meals and games. The pool area was gorgeous and we spent almost every possible minute there. Nerano and Marina del Cantone were short walks up and down the hill, and had lovely markets, cafes, and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Picture-Perfect Place to Enjoy the Amalfi Coast
Eight couples stayed at the villa for a week in early June. Upon arrival, our group commented that the villa is more beautiful than the photos posted. The grounds are meticulously maintained, with daily pool cleaning (except Sunday). The villa is clean, comfortable, spacious, and quiet, with spectacular views of the sea. The staff, especially Francesca and Carmine, are very courteous and helpful. We worked with Carmine in advance to schedule transportation for our daily excursions, book tours, and to stock the refrigerator with food and drinks. We ate breakfast at the villa daily, before heading out for the day; and enjoyed three dinners at the villa- sitting outside on the beautiful terrace. We found the villa to be a welcome respite from the crowds in Capri, Sorrento, Positano, and Amalfi. We relaxed in the infinity pool and hot tub. For those who do not have a car, the villa is only a short 10-minute walk down to the Marina Del Cantone, where you can purchase sandwiches & snacks, dine out, and enjoy a swim or kayak on the sea. Our group of 16 stayed within the allotted electricity, despite multiple use of the washer & dryer and dishwasher. We turned the A/C off each morning, and we did not need the A/C on some nights. On a scale of 1-10, we rate the villa a 10+. We would highly recommend booking the villa. Take advantage of the services and packages offered by Carmine, Events Specialist and local property manager.

Beautiful Location
These are comments from our friends.. Setting was beautiful! Perfect place to Celebrate with friends! Awesome pizza oven! Espresso machine was the best! Yes, the Villa was so beautiful…inside and out. View was amazing from all areas….pool view was just breath taking. Loved the professional stainless steel kitchen and espresso machine, separate air conditioning in each rooms, ice machine. I feel like I could just go on and on. Maybe mention the amazing hike to the private beach close by so others experience that also (baia di leranto). Spacious seating for breakfast, dinner and lounging If you’re lucky enough to catch a full moon it’s really spectacular! Close to an amazing 2 star Michelin restaurant (Quattro Passi). Each room has its own bathroom. No neighbors. Beautiful views. Amazing views, professional kitchen and beautiful outdoor living and eating spaces. Infinity pool and hot tub had breathtaking views. Close to town and food options, easy to catch a boat and super friendly taxi service I also thought the catered dinner was wonderful! Downsides.. we were told the water was not potable and had to provide our own. 18 of us definitely went through the allotted electricity and had to pay for the extra at the end of the visit.

It's a hotel, not a residence.
Our group of 15 friends stayed at this property for a week, and came away with mixed feelings about it. While the property is unquestionably beautiful and more than sufficient to accommodate a large group like ours or even larger, it disappointed us in several significant respects. This property is that it is NOT a residence, it is a hotel. Indeed, when you approach the property you will not see the name “Villa Delizia” anywhere on the property. Instead, you’ll see a sign for “Relais Vittoria”, which is the name that the hotel previously used. Because it was built as a hotel, there is no “family room” or other space in the property for friends and family to gather. The photo on the listing of couches in front of a fireplace with a TV over it does not exist. This is purely a commercial kitchen, and there is no space for family to gather and chat while meals are being prepared. There is no countertop for family or kids to sit at while the others are cooking, or anything of the like. There aren’t even any windows. Likewise, because this property is a hotel, every bedroom door has a lock on it, and you’ll need to take your room key with you each time you leave, or you will be locked out of your room. Just like a hotel. Staff arrives everyday around 7am, and several times I was faced with strangers when I went down to get a cup of coffee at 7:30am. Most mornings, there were at least two – sometimes more – people in all areas of the property. One afternoon staff was there late in the afternoon. They were cleaning, doing maintenance, and other tasks that are required to maintain such a large property. Not what we expected at all. The unique electricty charges were disclosed at the booking, so we knew that we needed to conserve to ensure that our overage charges were held to a minimum. But we were surprised is to see that the staff’s electricity usage is also counted against the allotment the guests receive. So when the staff are doing their chores, their electricity is charged to the guests. Indeed, although we were locked out of one of the industrial fridges in the kitchen, we paid for the electricity to run it all week for staff use. In summary, while this property is absolutely gorgeous, it is NOT a residence. Had we known that going in, none of this would have been an issue. But when a property is listed as a “private” villa on a site like “HOMEaway.com”, our expectation was that we would be staying in a residence, not a hotel

A Fantastic Two Weeks
Villa Vittoria … Villa Deliza … whatever the name, we had an incredible 2 week stay at this lovely villa overlooking Marina del Cantone, in Nerano. We have been planning an Amalfi trip for several years, wanting to invite friends and family. We searched several properties, but kept coming back to Villa Vittoria as it had everything we wanted. Ten guest rooms each ensuite, a pool, al fresco dining and entertaining space, and quiet with few tourists. Villa Vittoria delivered all plus more. The accommodations were new, clean, and well maintained. Dealing with Alfonso, Carmine, and Francesca was a delight. They were attentive to our questions, and very responsive when we had a few hiccups at the beginning of our stay (all our fault … not the villa’s). For us, the best part was the commercial kitchen where we were able to make some fabulous dinners, as well as the outdoor kitchen with wood-fire pizza oven and grill. The villa was so spacious, our guests could find a little nook for some quite-time to read a book or enjoy the sun. The pool is glorious, with lovely lounge chairs under olive trees, overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea. There are some wonderful one and two star Michelin restaurants all within walking distance, and both Nerano and Marina del Cantone have sufficient shops and markets for your needs. Everything about our stay was fantastic. We did not want to leave.

You will not regret staying at this villa on the Amalfi Coast A.

O
We were a group of three families with teenager children who stayed at this wonderful villa. There is a lot of outside space - we couldn't believe that it was all for us - terrace, garden, hot tub and pool. The local manager was also very helpful and explained where to go and what to see - Pompeii, limoncello tours and much more. Also, he recommended hiking to Positano from the nearby hill - again wonderful views of the Amalfi Coast (wear comfortable shoes!) . You also mustn't miss out on a boat trip to Capri. Ask the local manager to make sure you don't get ripped off! The kids loved the pool and the hot tub and we loved the views from the large terrace. There is a bus stops just opposite the villa which links Sorrento in approximately 30 minutes ride. There are also good restaurants and bars walking distance from the villa. Ask the manager for the best for your needs. However, it is definitely worth a visit.

The most amazing villa in a stunning location
Not sure where to begin. This is such a beautiful place to stay. We were here for 3 weeks, and the size of the villa with so many different terraces and entertainment areas meant that we always had somewhere to go, no matter what the weather, no matter that there were 20 of us-the villa just accommodated us all. Highlights- Carmine, the Villa Manger was super efficient; Francesca, Vittoria and their team were incredible. The villa was immaculately clean. the pizza oven was a huge success; being able to walk to the beach where there were so many restaurants all serving delicious food; taking boats from the beach to spend the day exploring The Amalfi coast and Capri. I could go on. This was simply fabulous.

BEAUTIFUL, INCREDIBLE!
My husband and I booked this villa for our wedding! We spent the entire week there with our closest family and friends and had our wedding ceremony at the villa overlooking the Amalfi Coast. It was beyond what we could have hoped and dreamed for. It was just absolutely stunning! The entire villa caters to you in every way - the rooms are perfectly set up. The infinity pool, hot tub, kitchen, family room - everything was perfect! We keep dreaming of being back there. The town of Nerano is just as cute and perfect and getting around to other parts of the Amalfi is very easy (by car or by boat). Thanks for for being so helpful with anything we needed and any questions we had. I highly recommend for anyone to stay there! We had a magical time!

Glorious & splendid villa!
Villa Delizia on the Amalfi Coast doesn’t even match up to the photos, yes it’s even more beautiful. We went in May 2018 to celebrate a 70th birthday. 17 of us arrived to the most splendid villa where we couldn’t fault a thing! Wonderful views surrounding it, great staff to look after us. We all had the most glorious time and we would definitely go back - especially to this area and, most definitely, to this glorious villa!

Superb villa for large group and families
The outdoor communal areas of the villa were superb, with several eating options and also a pizza oven. All the bedrooms are en suite with showers which was great for us, especially if you are a member of a large group. This is a very large superbly positioned villa, with stunning views over the bay. Its position cannot be faulted. We had two superb catered special occasion evening meals whilst we were there. One was a catered typical italian supper and the other was a pizza night. The accommodation was high class, spacious and very well maintained. We will definitely book with Alfonso again.

50th Anniversary celebration at Villa Delizia
We celebrated our 50th Anniversary at Villa Delizia with our children and grandchildren (16 in all). The villa and it's location were fantastic and we all loved our stay there. You could walk down to the marina and beach through a path ...walk back up was a little harder but I am 70 and was able to do it. There is also a bus right outside the property that you could take down and up. There are many restaurants to choose from casual to michelin star. There is also a small grocery store near beach where you could buy cheese, wine ,tomatoes bread and most of basics. We stopped at bigger market on way in and were able to meet rest of needs at local market. My family loved the area. It was crowded beach on weekend but fine during week in July and were more local Italians than tourists. Carmine was great arranging transfers from train or airport and setting up any excursions . We did a day boat tour around Amalfi Coast that children and adults loved. We did not rent any cars and did fine walking , taking bus and occasionally using a driver. It was a wonderful vacation that our family will always treasure. The staff does come in early to clean everyday but if it interferes with your schedule you might make different arrangements. We also loved the pool and was very welcome after your walk up from marina. Most nights we sat out on gorgeous terrace overlooking sea and enjoyed wine and appetizers!

Perfect for relaxation and yoga retreats
We were a yoga group of 20 people from USA and we booked this property quite far in advance with Alfonso at Naples Villas because we could see how popular it is. We loved the outdoor space with a spacious terrace where we could do our yoga sessions. Villa Delizia is close to the beach (approx. 7 minute walk) so we had some yoga sessions there - wonderful! The indoor space is also large and tranquil. We enjoyed several meals at delicious local fish restaurants recommended by Carmine, our local property manager. He was so helpful with excursions and also a boat trip to Capri island. We would definitely recommend this villa and are looking to return again for our next foreign retreat.

Absolutely Perfect!
This place is gorgeous and the views are spectacular! Francesca and her family went above and beyond to make us all comfortable. We stayed in this 10 bedroom Villa (and every room has it's own bathroom) for a week, in a party of 20, for a vow renewal ceremony. I cannot say enough about the attention to detail that this family puts into this Villa...everything from the cleanliness, to the gardening, and especially the delicious food! The family also helped to organize our multiple boating excursions as well as a pizza party! This property overlooks the Marina Del Cantone and I would HIGHLY recommend that you visit Ristorante Maria Grazia that Francesca's family also owns in that marina! So, if you are planning a trip to the Sorrento/Amalfi coast, check this place out first, You will NOT be disappointed.

The villa surpassed all of our expectations
We stayed at Villa Delizia with our entire family for two weeks to celebrate my 60th Birthday. The whole experience, from the point of booking to the airport transfer at the end of our holiday, was dealt with in the most caring and efficient manner by Alfonso in the UK and Carmine locally. The team was outstanding; their daily maintenance visits ensured that the villa was kept scrupulously clean and tidy. We ordered lasagne through Carmine for the evening of our arrival - we found this to be a great help when settling in. The dish was prepared by Vittoria and was delicious; there was more than enough to feed the whole group. On two occasions we engaged the ladies to prepare and serve pizza from the villa's wood fired oven; these evenings were a great hit with everyone - the pizza was amazing, the best we've ever tasted. The villa is very well appointed with excellent facilities, it is situated in a very prominent position overlooking the Marina; the views are simply stunning. The beach is ten minutes walk down the hill, via a pedestrian short cut, which saves a much longer walk along the winding road. The villa surpassed all of our expectations; every bedroom was superb. The kitchen was a pleasure to use, and there were multiple areas where we could all dine or just relax together. Every evening we would gather on the stunning patio for a drink and watch the sunset. Recommended:- Hire a boat, we twice had three for a day (see Positano from the sea - not to be missed). Dine at Maria Grazia on the seafront, try their famous pasta. Use the SITA buses; 1.3Euro one way to Sorrento with a bus stop right outside the villa gates! Visit Chiesa San Costanzo for the view! We felt really privileged to have been able to stay at this magnificent villa - we are determined to repeat the adventure! Our sincere thanks go to all of the team.

Amazing... Absolutely Beautiful!!!
Our group of 20 family and friends, could not have stayed at a better Villa or Village! Carmine & Franchesca were the most gracious hosts. My husband and I were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and renewing our vows at the villa. No request was too big for them, including our outrageous shopping list that Carmine spent an entire day shopping for! They helped us plan everything from excursions, to pizza parties, to delicious catered dinners, to live musicians for our ceremony. The Villa was immaculate. The love and care that they have for this propery, and the people staying at the property, did not go unnoticed. Our group commented daily on how much they loved the villa. We will have amazing memories for life, and could not be more grateful. We will definately be back!!

This was the best holiday of a lifetime!
All 20 of us agreed this was the best holiday of a lifetime! The staff was consistently helpful and kind. "The Senoras" who kept the Villa tidy were simply amazing. Carmine was an excellent host. He was a terrific resource for everything 20 guests could possibly need from rides to excursions to Sorrento & Amalfi Coast to you name it. Francesca' s pizza party was a wonderful success. In all, I can recommend this experience to all folks hoping for a memorable Amalfi holiday! This was a first European experience for many of our friends and they all want us to do it again!

The most enjoyable stay ever and was perfect!
I brought my family of 9 from USA to this villa-we rented the entire villa for the week. My wife and I have stayed all over the world. This was our most enjoyable stay ever and was perfect . The view is spectacular-yachts coming and going. The little fishing village of Cantore is as tourist free as you will find. Short (under 20 minutes) boat rides to Capri, Amalfi (Ravello), and Positano). There are hiking trails to other small villages, old forts, and obscure but high scale restaurants. Infinity pool overlooks the sea. But best of all is the food service. The owner goes to market daily and prepares meals each evening based on your order in the morning. Your privacy is guaranted. They have an outdoor pizza oven and if asked will make the best pizza you have ever eaten. The outdoor dining overlooks the Med. Sea. Her daughter Rosa runs the business side and speaks English and is a spectacular assistant, guide, advisor, etc. I would advise you to rent the entire villa if you are bringing your family- much more intimate.

Could not have been better!
My family, 16 adults and three children, had a magical experience at this villa. I still can't explain how it could have been more perfect. The levels of the villa afforded privacy and quiet and a view that is beyond compare. And then there was the location. It was lovely to leave the car and walk to the marina for gelato or the beach club for lunch and sun or dinner at a starred Michelin restaurant. Still, being a family retreat we grilled out and cooked pizza in the outdoor pizza oven. If you like to cook, the kitchen is insane. Add to all of that the people who take such remarkable care of the villa and you. You'll quickly find this is an exceptional place. My mom joked that the only thing missing was a fridge at the infinity pool, which overlooks the Med FYI, to keep white wine cold. And when that is the only thing you can think of that is lacking... :)
