"The hotel in general was nice. However there were 10-15 kids hanging out in the lobby and front door. Seemed like a school was being held there. It was very unusual. Also, parking was impossible. None existed. If it wasn’t for the kindness of a local gentleman I do not know what we would have done. If you are not driving that’s a different story. "The story of this amazing home goes back to the 1500. Many beautiful details at the same time sad to see the grounds are not looked after. Even winter grounds could be magnificent with proper care. The building itself needs lots of maintenance and the rooms need some updating, but the experience was great. We met beautiful people and that was priceless.
