"Upon arrival we entered hotel to find, what we thought was the reception, closed. We pressed a buzzer but nobody appeared. We looked up and down the hallway but found no staff. At this point I have two really excited children with me who are starting I worry they won’t get in. "I stayed in room 5 which was gorgeous. So spacious and well equipped with a sleep set and slippers. The food was brilliant at both dinner and breakfast and the staff were superb. Excellent value for money. I didn’t want to leave "

"We love staying here, and have never had any issues. The rooms are always clean and bedding comfortable. The shower is excellent. I usually bring a tea towel with me as it is not always provided. There is on site parking but not the easiest to access as it is down a narrow lane, but with care it is fine. the staff are pleasant and helpful, and the building is well maintained."

"Great stay but sometimes desk not manned. Thankfully we didn’t have to wait too long. Wasn’t thrilled about having a wheelchair accessible room, as showering wasn’t a great experience. It was very expensive for a Wednesday overnighter. "

"I liked the design elements that elevated the hotel above the usual IBIS. The place has real personality with the quirky menu in Glaswegian slang which provoked me to try haggis pizza! The room was well equipped, clean and comfortable. It was also very quiet which is an essential for me. The best thing however was the staff. This is a great team. After a day of disrupted travel, to arrive and be greeted by the wonderful Danielle who gave me a Tunnocks Caramel Log was a blessed relief. "
