"Room was small and hard to walk around bed as mattress platform stuck out beyond mattress and you could not walk around it without catching your leg or foot on very sharp corners-very bad design. My husband hit it twice and I hit it. Mattress was uncomfortable and pillows had smell. When we got to room cups in bathroom were dirty and lite was out over vanitory. "We can’t recommend the Hotel Royal more. The service was the best we’ve ever experienced in our 30+ years or traveling—and I’m not overstating that. The people were so friendly, caring, and helpful. The hotel itself was very well appointed. We loved the onsite restaurant and also found that the hotel was perfectly located in the heart of Aarhus bars, restaurants, and shopping. We will be back. "Room 418 for family was excellent with split door. Nothing fancy but good enough. Hotel clerk was excellent to give us this room instead of the one with just a wall split. "

"Love the hotel but was a bit let down by parking availability. Staying customers should be able to park close to the hotel. Instead the hotel allowed evening dining guests to completely take over the car park closest to the rooms. Somewhat spoiled the experience "
