"A beautiful hotel, with lovely friendly happy staff, who always gave a huge morning welcome at breakfast time. Delicious healthy breakfast and the best coffee, I've tasted in a long time, I had to go back for another. I felt very safe and it's in a great location to get to/from the ferry and to walk around to the shops and restaurants. "

"I loved the charm of the old building. Breakfast was included and was very good. The famous Lukmaan restaurant is right around the corner. There is a mosque across the alley, so you will hear the call to prayer unless you’re a heavy sleeper. There is also street noise but it usually gets quieter the later it gets. There is no parking. Make sure the taxi driver points out the building because it’s very nondescript. Overall a great place to stay. "

"Three staff is very accommodating, and kind. There's a nice feeling they all know you and are trying to really help. We were there 4 days and it felt like we are a little community. The rooms are comfortable, clean, hot water and good internet connection. The breakfasts are very nice. I recommend to organize all your tours through the hotel, it's easy and very reasonable prices, and you know it's all taken care of. So a lot less stressful. "I was with both my daughters the area la Neisha is situated is very safe, we were out late night we felt secure and the streets lights were visible. "I am a solo female traveller. Zanzibar House is an excellent property in so many ways. The staff are friendly and helpful. The grounds are a delight to be in, with lots of comfortable places to sit and read or contemplate the beauty of the area. I did not use the pool and I am sure it would be lovely. At night time I had an evening meal which was tasty and they accommodated my dietary requirements very well. I am gluten intolerant. I recommend this hotel if you like quiet and beauty filled...

"This was a nice property very close to the beach. The owner was super nice and involved. He showed us around and showed us where to eat in the area. The only downside was the shower which had salty water so when you showered it was like showering with ocean water. "

"What a phenomenal experience my family and I had at this resort! All of the staff members made my birthday celebration feel special and it’s one of the most memorable moment that I will always cherish. The facilities were outstanding, but what truly made our experience unforgettable was the team behind it all. "This was a beautiful property. The staff was beyond amazing and so accommodating. My fiancée and I wanted to use the hotel to take our engagement photos. We spoke with management to sure it was ok and they allowed us to do so. They were so pleasant about it and some of the staff actually stepped in to help that day of the shoot. Aside from the shoot, they were just great people with such good hearts and wonderful culture. I loved it there! I'll be back."
