"I enjoyed the rustic experience of being in a barn. The barn had lots of wooden paneling. The little pond and chairs outside were nice to sit and read. Most importantly, the location was close to hiking trails and restaurant. The owner was very quick to respond to texts and offer recommendations. "

"We enjoyed our time at Lily Pond The first evening the fish crows gave a us quite an impressive chorus! The distance into town was easily walkable and the return trip was even doable after hiking up to Maryland Heights. Everything we needed was available except dishwasher detergent and dish towels. The neighbors and town folks were very friendly. We would definitely rebook this sweet spot again. "

"My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. It was clean and had a lovely view from the main deck. What really made this house amazing was our hostess, Annie. She was very accommodating. Our breakfast was outstanding. Annie was extremely knowledgeable of the area and the best places to visit and eat. "The property is beautiful.I can only imagine how nice it will be after the renovations are complete. Lovely porch to sit on and watch the rain. Lovely private bath with beautiful clawfoot tub. I met my cousin here. It was half way between Pittsburgh and DC. We picked a bad few days, in that everything is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. That gave us a lot of quiet time to relax"
