"We stayed in the junior suite and loved the view of the canal. A spacious room with old world charm. The shower area is very tiny however. Breakfast was excellent. I removed a star because of the lack of hygiene at dinner time. One of the Bangladeshi workers was cleaning the kitchen and used the same ungloved hand to touch my food."

"A great small hotel in a convenient location , but quieter and less touristy. The room was lovely, the twin at the top of the hotel. The staff were very kind. We were really pleased to find such a nice breakfast included in the price it was most welcome."

I did find the room a little cold, my husband found it hot! But the room was gorgeous. We stayed in the deluxe conte. It had a lounge area, the bathroom was huge.
