An amazing place to stay!

Perfect location, secure building, awesome host & heated towel rack!
We (3 women) stayed here and thoroughly enjoyed the walkability of the port from VRBO location. Joelle was super warm and friendly and accommodating to our early arrival. The building was secure and required a key fob to open the main building door and then keyed entry to the apartment door. I did some laundry before heading to London and enjoyed utilizing the heated towel rack to dry my air-dry items. Thank you for a perfect stay!

Perfect location
My husband, 22 year old daughter and I stayed in this great apt for 3 nights. The location was perfect. Within a few blocks from the water and so many restaurants. Just up the stairs from a main square with even more restaurants. The apt was very clean and well maintained. The upstairs loft with low ceiling was a little tight for my 5’6 daughter but she managed. Joelle and her husband were perfect hosts and very helpful. Would definitely recommend this apt.

Heart of Marseille
We enjoyed the location by the Vieux Port, fun to take the ferry to the other side of the port and boat rides to the Calanques. Near shopping and restaurants, interesting central neighborhoods. Apt. was perfect for our needs, bathroom and kitchen were contemporary design and clean as could be. Roomy and perfect for 2, with a bedroom on first floor as well as a loft bed above, maybe for children (kind of a tight squeeze for adults). Host Joelle was extremely helpful and kind, prompt to respond to any question we had, both before and during trip, which we very much appreciated.

Great Place in a Great Location
The accommodation for our stay in Marseille was everything we needed for our group of 3 friends. The place was clean and exactly as described. The Location was amazing 1 min walk from the Port and central to all the great bars and restaurants around the Port. Convenient for walking to most city attractions
Joelle was easy to communicate with and congenial in wanting our stay to be perfect. The apartment is located within view of the old port when you walk out the front door but the view from the apartment windows is the city recycling dumpsters. Most people should not mind the view as this location provides easy access to the night life at the plaza, old port activities, local grocery stores and boulangeries, museums, shopping, and city landmarks. If you spend time at the apartment, you will notice the couches are pretty low and not really comfortable. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Thanks Joelle for your hospitality!

De locatie van de accommodatie is fantastisch. Met om de hoek de beste restaurants en aan de andere kant de oude haven. Super! Ik vond het wel jammer dat er niet een echte strijkplank aanwezig was. Het was behelpen met dat kleine tafelplankje. Verder hadden we niets aan te merken op het appartement.

Die Ausstattung war okay, die Lage für junge Menschen optimal: Strand, Zentrum, Geschäfte, Bars und der alte Hafen fußläufig erreichbar. Leider habe ich in meinem Schlafzimmer ein totes großes Insekt gefunden und das Bad war renovierungsbedürftig (Fugen etc) für den Preis haben wir das jedoch in Kauf genommen. Außerdem roch es im Flur sehr stickig. Insgesamt jedoch sehr zufriedenstellend, da wir jung sind und uns sowieso nur draußen aufgehalten haben.

L'appartement mérite une liste de situations positives: l'entrée est fascinante, rappelle le couloir d'un navire; silencieux, chaleureux, propre (serviettes, draps et vaisselle en ordre). Appt Hyper centre et bien isolé .
Cet appart est agréable : bien agencé et très pratique lorsque l on veut visiter Marseille car il très bien placé en plein centre du quartier vieux port . On descend l 'escalier à coté de l entrée de l immeuble et on tombe sur la place des huiles piétonne et agréable avec toutes ces terrasses! Séjour très sympathique à refaire car nous n avons pas tout vu !!!! Merci Joëlle ! Bénédicte et François de région parisienne .

Heerlijk en compleet appartement op loopafstand van de Oude Haven
Prima appartement! Foto’s op homeaway site zijn nauwkeurig en geven een perfect beeld. Het pand is nogal verouderd, als je door de gang naar binnen loopt, vrees je wellicht het ergste...maar alles komt goed als je in het appartement aankomt. Perfect! Andere praktische zaken: parkeergarage is recht voor de deur! Je loopt in een paar minuten naar de Oude Haven en zoveel restaurants als je maar kunt tellen. Kortom: top!
