Casa Paradiso is aptly named!
This is a lovely property in a beautiful location. If you want peace and quiet and amazing views then this is the place for you. Carla and Franco are extremely helpful and the apartment contains everything you might need including a well equipped kitchen. There was a generous welcome pack including supper for the day we arrived and a bottle of very nice wine. The nearest town, Marsciano, is an easy 10 minute drive and has many supermarkets, restaurants etc. We highly recommend the restaurant Hosteria Mattta.

Casa Paradiso
We stayed in Carla and Franco's little paradise for a week during the heatwave across Europe this summer. Carla and Franco were there to meet us after our long journey and had even provided us with supper and breakfast on our first night. Their home is traditional and rustic and perfect. The gardens are just stunning and the pool just a few metres away from the house is lovely. There are many places to sit around the property to enjoy the sun/shade and enjoy the scenery, the garden is buzzing with life, beautiful butterflies and little lizards. Marciano is a short drive and offers all the facilities of a small town eg supermarket and restaurants and the property itself is well placed to explore the delights of Umbria. It is so very peaceful and for us the ideal holiday. Thank you Carla and Franco for sharing your piece of paradise.

Beautiful property, perfect location and very lovely owners
We couldn’t have asked for a better first experience of Italy. It was everything we hoped for and more. It was perfect just to relax with a glass of wine and enjoy the long views across the beautiful Umbrian countryside, admire Carla and Franco’s garden, watch the butterflies and listen to the humming of the insects. It was the most relaxing and comfortable property we have stayed in and we returned home feeling happy and enriched. There were so many interesting places to visit nearby and with an early start one morning, we were also able to enjoy a day in Florence. Umbria has some beautiful national and regional parks which also have great cycling trails suited to all abilities. We look forward to going again and highly recommend this lovely place.

Beautiful and relaxing rural stay in Umbria.
We very much enjoyed the beauty and peace of Carla and Franco's Umbrian retreat. We were lucky with weather and were able to enjoy the beautiful and clean pool and yet it was cool enough to take long walks and sleep comfortably. The place is cozy and authentic and so deeply peaceful. Carla and Franco are as wonderful as everyone describes. They are kind, helpful, responsive and just lovely people. If you are looking for a remote country retreat then this is ideal. There are plenty of places to visit within 30-60 minutes. We didn't run out of things to do in our six days. A wonderful stay.

Perfect Umbrian retreat
If you want to get away from it all and relax in perfect surroundings,eat great food,visit idyllic towns and villages then this is the place for you. The hosts Carla and Franco are lovely and supply everything you may need upon your arrival even a lovely Lasagna which my boys devoured. One week here and we all felt totally recharged. This place is not for everyone but if you love Italy and the tranquillity of the countryside I'm sure you will love this place. If not then you don't belong in Italy.

Absolutely lovely
We have just returned from a week's holiday at this wonderful property. We were given a very warm welcome from our hosts, Carla and Franco, including a delicious Lasagne, to save us cooking a meal on our first evening. The property if beautiful. Driving off the road and down a track, the house sits in extensive gardens. They were still very pretty, even though we'd missed the best of Carla's many roses. The views go on and on, with the nearest house being about a quarter of a mile away, so the seclusion and privacy adds to the peace and quiet of this lovely holiday home. Carla and Franco departed the next morning and we were trusted to be the keepers of their property for our week's stay. The annex is very homely and comfortable, with everything you could need. Beautifully renovated, we have had a really relaxing time, and would love to return when the weather is a little warmer, so we could enjoy the gardens more than we were able on this occasion. Our hosts returned to wave us goodbye, and we enjoyed a morning coffee in their lovely farmhouse kitchen with them, and the lovely lady who looks after the annex, before we left. Wonderful hosts, a truly idyllic location, and a perfect holiday home. Thank you for a very enjoyable holiday.

Just fantastic.....
Arrived after a long drive through France to be personally welcomed by the owners Carla and Franco....if you have a decent sat nav ( and follow Carla's instructions ) you will find the property easily. A good explanation as to how the apartment works and even better, was the home made Lasagne waiting for us in the fridge ! Also ,very thoughtfully provided were some basic provisions to last you until a visit to the local supermarket. The apartment was perfectly sized for the two of us and well equipped with all kitchen hardware if you needed to cook indoors,also provided was a portable BBQ . The location is very rural and the views are simply stunning,everything that has been previously written on this subject is true.....we really enjoyed sitting outside in the evening with a bottle of wine,watching and listening to the Owls fly through the valley. The garden is well looked after,the pool is great,we had a really relaxing week here. If you prefer to use the property as a base and visit Umbria's sights,then it is well placed. As we were travelling by car for nearly a month throughout Europe we only wanted to do a couple of visits. Spoleto and Orvieto were well worth it. Would definitely return and also recommend to our friends.....thank you Carla and Franco.

Nous avons ete recu tres chaleureusement par les proprietaires et nous les remercions encore de nous avoir ouvert les portes de leur "paradis". C est un bel endroit, tres beau jardin, piscine "olympique" bien entretenue et maison tres propre, fonctionnelle et super bien equipee. Un peu esprit la maison de ma grand mere avec la modernite en plus (wifi :-)) La situation permet de bien decouvrir l Ombrie ; nous avons alterne repos et ballades et fait aussi un tour sur la cote Adriatique pour une journee a la mer , c etait juste parfait. Merci encore a Carla et Franco.

Fijn huis, goed verzorgd en prachtig gelegen.
Heerlijk huisje, in prachtige, perfect onderhouden tuin. De werkelijkheid is nog mooier dan de foto's! Daarnaast zijn Carla en Franco uiterst zorgzame en behulpzame verhuurders. Kortom: een aanrader voor iedereen die van rust, licht, lucht en natuur houdt, waarbij je ook nog eens vele highlights van Umbrië binnen handbereik hebt.
