Capture the spirit of Marrakech
Our week stay at Ryad Noura was a delight from start to finish. The Ryad is a beautiful building and the decor captures the spirit of Morocco. The accommodation was clean comfortable and peaceful. Youssef and the staff were superb hosts, they were extremely helpful and the warm friendly atmosphere made our stay a real joy. The location was ideal for what we wanted, amongst the local people capturing the historic culture of Marrakech but within easy walking distance of cafes, restaurants and souks. Given that we like a beer midday and cocktails in the evening, we were regulars at Cafe Arabe (though we did sample other watering holes near the main square) about a 10 minute walk. I would definitely stay at Ryad Noura again and recommend it to friends and family.

Great place for couples, families, solo travelers
I don't usually write reviews but I felt compelled to do one for Ryad Noura because it was so great! My room was gorgeous and looked like a museum. Youseff, the manager, was extremely friendly and so helpful. I was a little nervous about traveling alone as a single woman but he made me feel completely at ease, walking with me to the main street and providing helpful tips on how to navigate the city. He also somehow managed to anticipate my needs, knocking on my door and bringing me coffee or tea (free of charge) at the exact moment I wanted it. The only downside of this hotel is that to get to the hotel you have to walk through a bunch of narrow alleyways, which is no issue for families or couples but can be a bit scary for a solo female traveler. However, Youseff assured me it was totally safe and, true to his word, the alleyways were well-lit and filled with women/children chatting outside of their homes so I felt totally fine walking home at 9 pm. The hotel itself has a very romantic, traditional vibe, so it would be especially good for couples looking for their dream Moroccan getaway!

Beautiful Ryad with amazing staff. Book it!
4 of us stayed for an extended weekend in the charming Ryad Noura and absolutely loved everything about it. The location is fantastic, the Ryad is gorgeous, the size and cleanness of the room perfect and the service from all staff couldn't be better. From the start to the very end of our trip we were looked after by Youssef who was extremely charming, helpful and made us feel relaxed and at home. Nothing was too much trouble and we got much more than we bargained for.

The staff makes you feel like if you were home
It is quite difficult to find this hotel in the labyrinth of Medina but once you get there you experience very nice welcoming. Youssuf, one of the staff member was very helpful guy, one of the most I have ever experienced. This place is definitely worth staying for couple of nights.

Beautiful Riad, Run by Great People.
The moment we walked into Ryad Noura we were transported into the Moroccan experience we hoped for. Yousseff greeted us, took our luggage and served us delicious hot Moroccan tea. (A huge PLUS, the riad organized our airport pickup, which was efficient, pleasant and reliable.) We were stunned by our room, it was gorgeous and looks like something you would find in a high quality-- 4 star hotel. It was well equipped in typical bed & breakfast style. Working wifi, great shower, lovely shampoos, water bottles, fresh towels and linen... The manager Youseff was so kind to us, he went out of his way to make us feel comfortable, assisting with some of our strict dietary requirements, arranging day trips, as well as walking us through the medina during day and to our taxis more than once. And also speaks English very well! We are very grateful to Youseff for enhancing our experience. The vibe was very homey, we could sit in the foyers and use our laptops and have a tea and chat whenever. The roof is pleasant for some fresh air, if you're not in the mood for a walk around the Medina. All in all I would definitely recommend to a friend-- only thing is, I would give a heads up that at night the riad can be a little tricky to find, in the dark with lots of people clamoring to 'help', I guess this is part of the Marrakesh experience, just keep it in mind. Enjoy your stay! Eli & Myriam

Peaceful Paradise inside Marrakech Medina
This was truly a paradise. From the moment Youssef, the friendliest and charming riad manager, met us at the taxi and walked us through the cobbled streets to the riad, we felt inside a fairytale. The riad itself is stunning - quiet, gorgeously decorated, with a tiny pool and large dining table in the main area downstairs, soft Arabian music playing and incense burning - feels like a secluded upscale spa. The room itself is big enough for a family, with a nice queen bed, and two twin beds. The bathroom is a work of art - with laced curtains and soft lighting. The balcony lets you hang out outside while being "inside", the roof has great views. The best part of the experience is Youssef himself, the manager, who speaks perfect English, accommodates your every wish, jokes with kids, suggests tourist attractions, makes calls for you to arrange travel logistics and pours you a glass of wine if you so desire. Breakfast was delicious (we didn't do dinner at the riad). We stayed there for two nights, then took a trip to the Sahara (spent the night in the desert), and booked another night at Noura on the way back. Re-entering this lovely place after the hustle and bustle of the road was doubly magical. If I ever go back to Marrakech, Noura is where I'm staying.

A beautiful escape from the chaos!
We are a family of four and were truly shocked by how unique, traditional, and serene this Ryad is. I read all of the reviews about how kind Joseph was and he met all of my expectations. I was expecting him to be an older man but he is actually an attractive younger man and he will help in any way possible!! He had my husband jump on his motorbike to take him to a far away pharmacy when our son had a fever. Then again he took him to the supra tours bus station for us to buy tickets!! He even drove us to the station later that day with our bags!! We were happy to give him 200 Dh (equivalent to 20 dollars) and we are going to tip him more when we return. This hotel is so safe we just left our big bag with him for three days while we ventured to Esaouira - unlocked!! The families that stay at this hotel are so kind and trustworthy. One bit of caution!! Call a day or two before you come to hotel to make sure they have your booking!! Even though Expedia has you booked, we called before and they did not know of our reservation. And order a taxi! The only other drawback is the beds are hard. But the beds at our four star hotel in Italy were just as hard. The rooms are very cozy and there is pretty decor. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner sets. They do provide hair dryers though. We love how Joseph makes us mint tea whenever we ask. Great little breakfasts made by him as well. They are a wonderful staff in a city that can be pretty crazy and dirty- but what an experience.

Home from Home!
My wife and I and our 15 year old son had 3 days in Marrackech. The Riad Noura is very central in the old part of the city - the Medina. The streets are very narrow here and at first, visitors may be fearful or worried. However, our experience is very positive, we were totally safe and the neighbourhood felt very comfortable. The hotel is very welcoming, they arranged taxi transfer from the airport and we were met by Youssef who runs the Riad. He is a wonderful host, helpful, informative and entertaining. I would really recommend collection from the airport as we would not have been able to find the Riad without help. Maps of Marrakech are not easy to use as streets are so small and narrow. Riad Noura is very comfortable and welcoming, it is an oasis of peace in the crazy atmosphere of Marrakech. Just minutes walk from the Souk markets and about 15 minutes walk from Jemaa El Fna - the main central square. Everybody at the Riad Noura is very welcoming and always offered tea, coffee or juice anytime we came in or went out etc. Breakfast was great before heading out for the day to sightsee or haggle in the markets! The room facilities are first class and the Riad is kept spotlessly clean. Home from Home!, but even better!

Home from home!
What a lovely hidden gem, located in the medina, a lot easier to work your route to the square once the ryad owner, yousef takes you initially. Yousef was so charming and couldn't have been any more helpful. We stayed for 5 nights in February and had the whole place to ourselves, the room was beautiful, with a fire place and plenty of logs, the cleaner came daily. If there is only one thing I would recommend, it would be the very hard bed, although the last ryad we stayed in also had a hard bed so maybe it's the Moroccan way! We loved this place, it was like stepping back in time, highly recommend the ryad and the excellent service provided by yousef

Best service and most helpful staff - a gem
The service at Ryad Noura was phenomenal. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to be of service. While the Ryad is a little walk from the Medina, it is well worth staying here for the way you will be taken care of. It's extremely reasonably priced and when you add in the exceptional service it is the best deal you'll find! We stayed in Marrakech two separate weekends in a row and the second weekend we spent a lot more at a Ryad and got far less. We wished we had stayed both weekends at Ryad Noura. If we ever go back we'll stay there again!

amazing amazing must stay
The hitel is located in the heart of the medina. Finding the hotel is very trickey. The roads leading up feel scary at first and once you see a lot of tourist walking around you will feel safe immediately. Amazing hotel. Very small. Yusuf the gm makes you feel welcomed. Internet in the rooms does not work. The bathriomsnare done very teaditionally but very clean. It's a very cosy hotel with only 4 rooms. You will not regret if you want to experience a real traditional hotel.

Very friendly welcome. Down a series of narrow passages but totally safe. Mint tea on arrival and on request. Much more of an authentic experience ghan a hotel. Very near to the Medina, Souks and El a Rous or Larouss road. I would strongly recommend this experience. Mostly French speaking.

Don't even think about staying anywhere else!
We had a fabulous stay at Ryad Noura - from the moment we were collected from the airport to the moment we left, we were looked after wonderfully. Great family friendly Ryad in a perfect location just north of the central square and moments from the souks. All the staff were wonderful and couldn't be more friendly and helpful. A perfect place for a family stay, as the rooms are set around the usual riad central courtyard and so once the children were in bed, we were able to retire downstairs for a drink and game or two. Lovely rooftop terrace with sun loungers and even a cross-trainer machine for those with the energy. Small, cold pool which was too cold for us to contemplate, but the children weren't put off. Also a resident tortoise and two cats which were a big hit with the kids. Can't recommend Ryad Noura highly enough!

Our family enjoyed a faultless stay at Riad Noura. Caryl, Yousef, Amal & Abdulhakim were so attentive & kind especially to our little children Rose & baby Freddie. The riad was impeccably furnished & beautiful. We would highly reccommend a stay there especially as the Medina is such an exciting environment.

Oasis of tranquility amidst a crazy city!
Your senses have been pummeled from every angle- the heat, the noise, the different smells, the sights.... you are shown through back alleyways and arrive at a big ancient Moroccan wooden door. After being shown in, you are thrown into a different world of peace, calm and tranquility. Light music is playing, the sun shines through onto the tall trees in the courtyard and you take a deep breath, are invited to sit down and enjoy a beverage of your choice in the beautiful Ryad Noura. This was totally how our arrival felt at Ryad Noura. We had come from the Ourika Valley on local taxis, been dropped off in the middle of Marrakech after the taxi driver had no idea where he was going and so to walk into Ryad Noura was like finding an oasis in the desert.

What a joy to stay in this beautiful Riyad. Joseph was a wonderful host, he even showed us around! They were very generous with extras and breakfast. Couldn't believe that such a quiet place existed in this crazy town! This Riyad made the kids feel comfortable and everyone in the neighbourhood was quick to welcome us home. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Ryad with amazing staff
Marrakech is a very exciting city. The Ryad is down a maze of alleyways that seem scary at first but once you have been down the alley once or twice it's absolutely fine! Agil the young man that was in charge of the Ryad when we were there took us to the main square the first night pointing out landmarks to help us find our way back - which of course we did with no problem. Agil also organised our transfers from the train station and to the airport. He also cooked our breakfast and served it on the rooftop terrace which was amazing.

I've never felt more at home. Ryad Noura  is amazing and a great value. Youssef the Ryad host is super accommodating and kind. We gained a GREAT friend in Youssef and learned a lot about morocco from him. Rooms were comfortable and traditionally decorated. The Ryad is hard to find just like everything else in Marrakech.  Can't say enough on how pleased we were about this Ryad and it's staff. I definitely recommend.
