I think at first the location is really hard to find but because Malika had organised us a transfer we were greeted by Usama who escorted us from the busy main road all the way to the hotel! Breakfast was nice, few options but understandable as there was not many guests staying in the Riad. Malika, the owner of the hotel, was so friendly and so helpful, she really made us feel so welcome! Usama, one of the main guys working there was lovely! So friendly and ever so polite! Two other guys called Mohammed were also ever so pleasant and very helpful! The two housekeeping ladies were very sweet and you were always greeted with a smile! (Sorry I didn’t quite catch either of their names!) the room itself was very spacious, and had hanging space and cupboard space for all our clothes! We had air con which of course worked very handy! Room was very clean and we always had fresh towels everyday. Honestly and truly, if you really want to be in the heart of Marrakech, this is the place to stay!!

Its in a very unsafe position down a dead end windy path lots of cats kittens being fed with dead chicks the place needs lots of wk broken stuff dead plants everywhere dirty no roof space mattresses on roof staff washing etc etc

Nice hotel hidden away
Nice room and breakfast, difficult to find (taxi driver had no idea) hidden down a back alley but close to all the major sites. Hidden charge of 25MAD per person per night ‘tax’! WiFi not great/broken but overall a good hotel!

notre séjour au Riad Pourpre
Personnel très agréable et sympathique, literie confortable , petit déjeuner très bien, très propre, bémol du sans doute à la saison,(31/12 au 04/01) nous avons eu froid dans la chambre et au petit déjeuner , heureusement il y avait un radiateur à bain d'huile dans la salle de bain. La situation géographique du riad peut aussi être un souci , pas facilement localisable sur un plan. Mais cet endroit est très calme! le coffre ne fonctionne pas la TV non plus , ni le chauffage dans la chambre.

Ottima posizione nella medina; struttura nuova e camere eleganti. Personale disponibilissimo tanto da stamparci sia le carte d’imbarco che anticipato la colazione data la partenza all’alba. Consigliatissimo!

mitten im Leben der Stadt!
Das Riad ist nur weiterzuempfehlen! Man kann dort komplett von dem Trubel draußen abschalten und es umgibt einen eine wunderbare Atmosphäre. Die Angestellten (Eventuell ein kleiner Familienbetrieb) sind alle sehr nett und hilfsbereit und stehen bei Nachfragen immer zur Verfügung. Das Riad befindet sich mitten in der Medina und man muss um drei Ecken, von einer sehr belebten Stadt, gehen, sodass das Riad zwischen Familienwohnungen liegt.

Todo perfecto. Nos ha encantado el hotel, el personal, la habitación, el desayuno.. Si tuviera que destacar un punto negativo, es que está a 20-25min andando del centro y por seguridad nos volvíamos pronto.

Il riad è veramente favoloso, il più bello e pulito in cui io abbia alloggiato. La colazione è ottima rd abbondante e il personale veramente cordiale. Per trovarlo consiglio di non copiare l’indirizzo sul sito perchè vi porta in tutt’altra parte ma scrivere direttamente su maps il nome del riad e si trova facilmente. L’unica pecca la zona, è molto centrale e questo è un bene in quanto si è già al centro quando si esce ma per la notte rientrare è stato per noi un po “pauroso” per via di ragazzi che ci aspettavano per venirci dietro a chiedere soldi. Questa è l’unica pecca, ma il riad in se è veramente favoloso.

Un desastre de experiencia
Estuvimos 3 días en este riad. Las fotos de las zonas comunes engañan bastante, por dentro esta muy viejo, la piscina que anuncian que tienen es una fuente ornamental. Además estuvimos todos los días sin wifi por que no funcionaba y las puertas de las habitaciones eran de cristal y se tapaban con cortinas, lo cual deja bastante que desear. Para colmo el último dia me robaron 50 euros que tenia guardados en la maleta en la habitacion, que no salieron en los 3 días. Estaba esperando porque el dueño me iba a ofrecer alguna solucion, pero ya veo que ha pasado un mes y el ni caso. Aun estoy esperando los resultados de su "investigación". Los desayunos están bien aunque es todo dulce y la mujer joven que trabaja allí es muy agradable. El resto una decepción en toda regla

Riad muito bonito
No dia em que chegámos houve problemas com a água e fomos reencaminhados para outro Riad na outra ponta da cidade. Apesar dos inconvenientes e de termos de ficar noutro Riad que não aquele que escolhemos, o Riad onde ficámos nos dois primeiros dias também era bom, muito bem localizado e com um atendimento muito simpático. Acabámos por ficar apenas uma noite no Riad Pourpre Medina, mas a Malika foi extremamente simpática e disponível, tendo-nos ido buscar ao outro Riad e compensado da melhor forma possível o inconveniente passado. O Riad é lindíssimo, o quarto espaçoso, com muito boas condições e com um terraço muito agradável. Os únicos pontos mais desfavoráveis foram talvez a localização e o facto do funcionário não falar em inglês, sendo a comunicação bastante difícil quando a Malika não se encontrava.

Fine and friendly hotel
A fine hotel! Things that are good are the cleaning, friendly and helpful staff and the rooms are great. Things that were not good are that the Wi-Fi was not working 5 out of 6 days. That was quite annoying for our possibilities to plan and communicate with tourist services. Also only one of staff members spoke english. Others could not communicate in English at all. The location is close to the souks and in a local and bit chaotic area.

Llegamos al riad (el cual teníamos reservado y pagado con mas de dos semanas de antelación con hoteles.com y nos cambiaron para otro por overbooking. Ademas al transladarnos en un taxi de Riad a Riad querían cobrarnos el transporte. El otro riad estaba peor ubicado y no daban servicios de comida ni cena y el desayuno superescaso. Muy descontentos con el servicio del riad y de hoteles.com
