Wonderful Experience
My husband and I stayed at this riad for four days. The caretaker is Ahmed, and he made our trip extra special. The riad itself is extremely clean and a place of great calm. There is a tiny swimming pool right outside our door that is a delightful, refreshing way to end a day in the medina. A lovely breakfast is served every morning, and Ahmed goes out of his way to make sure that all of our needs are met. We felt very cared for, and frankly Ahmed’s care was one of the most special parts of our trip. We felt like VIP guests, and every request was met with the most gracious of responses. The owner of this riad went to great lengths to ensure that the home has everything you would need and to make it a beautiful place, but Ahmed was here constantly ensuring that we felt safe, comfortable, connected, informed, and valued. Great value for a wonderful experience.

Great Riad!
Our stay at the Riad was percect. Marc, Hassan, Youseff and the cook were all very hospitable, and had our comfort in mind the whole time. I especially liked recieving the mint tea upon arrival, and checking in was more like getting to know one another, rather than signing things. Room had everything we needed and was exactly what we expected. They were willing to take us to the main shopping square and even took us to the best restaurant and introduced us. I would highly recommend the Riad for your stay in Marrakesh.

Great Place to Stay
This Riad is really nice and provides luxurious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. There is a roof top area to relax and take breakfast or an evening meal if you want to eat in. The food is fantastic! The hosts are very welcoming and attend to all your needs. The owners are very friendly and good company. Be sure to use the taxi service they provide from airport to Riad or you will pay double and have to find your way through the Medina which can be a maze. It is located in a relatively quiet part of the Medina in a busy street where the locals get on with everyday life. You will be amazed by the diversity and the hussle and bussle of the place. The main square is about 20 minutes walk but it will take longer as you get distracted on the way. Watch out for the street kids who offer to direct you where you want to go and then you end up in the tannery or a shop and they want money for the service!

Our September stay 2015
My sister and I had a lovely stay at the Riad Les 5 Soeurs last week. We were the only people booked in so it was a little quite but that was not a problem at all. We were greeted and looked after by wonderful staff members and the manager welcomed us the following morning with mint tea and a quick overview of Marrakech and a few do's and dont's which was helpful. The only down side to our visit was that on the evening before our morning return flight we were informed that a light breakfast would be served to us by the security staff member and that he would take us to the area where the airport taxi would pick us up. We were up early and ready for breakfast but there was no sign of any staff or our coffee etc. We left on our own and found the taxi on our own which showed up with no problem but we were a little nervous about getting to our flight on time.

Nice Place to stay
Overall good, staying as a female on my own I felt safe. Owner/ Managers mood was a little changeable from very welcoming and informative to rude on departure (due to a taxi time he advised of 10:45 am for the airport, and then the day of departure he was very annoyed that I wasn't ready to go at 10:30 am) which spoiled the trip a little.

Excellent Riad, with stellar service
We had a great weekend in Marrakech. We were welcomed to the Riad with aromatic mint tea and given tips about the town and what to do. Hassan ensured that we knew exactly the way to the main square and the souks. Breakfast was filling, delicious and fresh! The room was great size for the 3 of us - we each had our own bed. The bathroom was clean with a lovely sized bath and clean towels & bedding. The Riad was very peaceful inside - a totally tranquil retreat from the hustle & bustle. I would definitely recommend to take the airport transfer offered by the Riad on your arrival, especially since the taxi cannot go inside the town walls and you will be met by the hotel manager at the town gate.

Friendly staff, freshly constructed Riad
A very customized experience - e-mails before and after our stay, breakfast at any suggested time, helpful staff showing us around the city. The team is friendly and always available, the continental breakfast is good (egg, cheese, bread, cakes, jam..). Make sure you call them before arriving to know how to find it - it's actually easy to access by taxi (15mn/2-3eur trip) but then you may get lost in the Médina as the door looks like any other door.

Highly recommended
From start to finish of our three night stay Abdella and Youssef made us welcome and comfortable. As it was low season we were upgraded from the Brown Room to the Chocolate Suite - luxury! Nothing was too much trouble. When we two tired out ladies asked if there were any good restaurants nearby Abdella offered to order dinner in for us, then Youssef collected our order and laid a table in the Riad's courtyard for us to enjoy our meal. One morning I enquired about getting treatments in a Hammam I'd seen and Abdella called ahead to reserve appointments for us. We received lots of excellent advice about not getting scammed, how to haggle, and of course plenty of help with directions. Abdella speaks very good English and Youssef was well able to understand my broken French so there were never any communication problems.

Loved Riad Les 5 Soeurs
I would stay here again if I returned to Marrakech. The food by the chef there was amazing! The dinner I had there was so delicious. Everything was so well flavored and there was a lot of food. The staff went above and beyond their call of duty. We felt at home from the start. The neighborhood is busy (not noisy though). The super friendly staff is available to help you make your way. My stay here was the most memorable of all of my time in Morocco. This was my 4th trip to the country.

Close to the main square and souks
We arranged transport from the airport through the Riad prior to our visit. Youseff came down to the taxi and took us to the Riad. We had an early flight and even though we were way before 2pm check-in we were in our room within an hour. During which time we had been served mint tea and Abdel showed us on maps just how to get to the square etc. We also had been upgraded to the Chocolate Suite. Khadija - the cook made a wonderful meal in the evening which was really delicious. We were taken care of throughout the holiday by all 3 members of staff. The Riad has a very friendly and most helpful atmosphere. Abdel gave us his phone number just in case we got lost, he gave us lots of useful information and booked our trip up to the Atlas Mountains for a day. This trip was excellent. It does nit take long to walk to the square and from there not that long to get to all the main places that we wished to see. However like all good things it came to an end and off we were to home. We had a relaxing time, meals served when we wished.Breakfast on the terrace, dinner in the first courtyard. The food was excellent. A very enjoyable time.

Our stay at the riad was wonderful, right in the heart of old Marrakech. The riad was beautiful, the staff incredibly attentive, and an atmosphere so relaxed it took away all the stress from the hustle and bustle the city has to offer.

Perfect Riad Exceptional Service Highly Recommend
This is truly the perfect Riad - we wouldn't change a thing!! If you want a real sense of Marrakech this hotel is the place. The riad itself is very beautiful and well maintained, the rooftop terrace was a perfect getaway from the busy streets. The service was truly 5 stars!! The staff could not be more helpful and offered very useful advice as a first time visitor to the city. The breakfasts were lovely, we especially enjoyed the pancakes, coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. We had a meal in the hotel - a lovely traditional moroccan meal, the best of our stay by far!! We had the chocolate room which we would highly recommend. The room was beautifully decorated and very clean - again we could not fault it. As a married couple in our 30's - the overall experience of staying in this riad was perfect.

Riad Les 5 Soeurs is a 15 mins walk from centre, which is easy to locate once walked a couple of times. The facilities are exactly what you expect and the service is of a high standard, nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend eating in the Riad as the food was superb as is breakfast...you will not be hungry. It was peaceful, clean and above all an oasis in a bustling city.

The Riad and the staff were fabulous.
Awesome 3 nights away, in a relaxing Riad that allows you to experience the true Marrakech in a clean and peace full surrounding. The rooms and bathrooms are amazing in nice clean polished plaster finishes, with Moroccan touch's, the staff although don't speak amazing English were very accommodating and couldn't do enough to ensure we were well looked after. You wont be disappointed unless you want all exclusive, European company laid a round a swimming pool, which if you do go to Butlins or costa de sol.

Loved the riad - but not sure on the location
The riad and its staff were absoultely amazing. The only concern I had was the location coming from the square. I have stayed within the medina before, but I think this is one of the furthest I have experienced. They do however provide you with a helpful map and put on special lights so you can find them at night.

Exceeded all expectations! Great stay!
Truly fantastic stay! From the get-go I was sure i had made the right choice due to the fantastic welcome we received from Abdel and Youssef. They could not be more welcoming and attentive. In fact i would say the two of them and Khadija (the cook) were a big part of what made the trip a joy; always helping out with organising tours, providing information, drinks etc and always a warm greeting and friendly genuine smiles when coming in from a day/night out. The service was some of the best and most personal that I have had over the many years of travelling I have done. I was travelling with my father and he said the same. The Riad itself is a lovely building spread over three floors in a less touristy spot within the Medina (15 mins from the main square) and from the roof terrace you can see the community come to life. THe food (especially the three course dinner on our first night) was fantastic and i highly recommend at least one meal in the Riad as it was excellent. The breakfast is a good start to the day and is continental but provided enough fuel for the day to be happy. in fact if the weather is good eat it on the roof looking out at the Atlas mountains!! Superb! The beds were firm but comfy and each room has a safe for belongings. The bathrooms were decently equipped and the water always hot. There are no negative comments and for the price you can't go wrong to stay here. Thanks Abdel, Youssef and Khadija for a fantastic stay!

Wonderful Riad staffed by wonderful people
I wasn't at all well when we arrived at the Riad, but the kindness, concern and help we received was second to none. On top of this, the room was lovely, the bathroom amazing, the dinner delicious and the breakfast the very best we have had in Morocco. But most of all the staff are fantastic and a it was a true pleasure to have met them. I can't recommend this Riad highly enough.

A Special Riad
The riad is in the heart of the medina. Once inside, it is quiet and peaceful - a great escape from the noise and bustle just outside. The meals provided in the riad are excellent, and we had dinner there several times - every time different, and excellent value. It was chilly in early January though, so a fleece when eating dinner in the covered courtyard is useful! Breakfast on the terrace was a wonderful daily experience, with a variety of fresh bread, cake, eggs, pancakes etc and really fresh orange juice - a great start to the day, with the sun very warm and the mountains visible over the rooftops. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The hamman spa they suggested and booked turned out to be very good, as were the trip to the waterfalls in the mountains and the visit to Essouria. We saw very good reviews before we went and it exceeded our expecations. If we were talking to someone who might be going, here is our advice, for what it's worth: You can get a drink with your meal in the riad, but it's VERY hard to find when eating out around the square. Worth maybe booking a few trips before you go, asa well as asking the staff what they suggest. There is no tea/coffee making in the room, but you can ask for coffee and (mint) tea to be made. When out and you pause to look at the map, especially in the medina, beware of being asked if you need help - just say no. In fact, beware of any offer of help! You can trust the staff in the riad.

Couldn't have been any better!
The Riad les 5 Soeurs is nothing other than perfect. It is situated on the east side of the Medina, around a 10 to 15 minute walk from the main square. As soon as you arrive at the Riad you are made to feel at home. The Riad is a perfect retreat from the busy, bustling streets of Marrakech - it is spotlessly clean, calm and relaxing. The level of service is first class - Sakine (the manager) works tirelessly to ensure you are comfortable and have all of your needs met - in particular, he is very helpful in arranging transportation, excursions and guides around the city and beyond. The food at the Riad is superb, by far the best food we ate in Marrakech. The Riad itself is full of character, arranged over three levels with a lovely sun terrace at the top. All of the rooms are beautifully laid out - each one has their own unique character. There are plenty of places to sit, read, relax and unwind at the Riad - it really is a little paradise in the middle of the Medina! In addition, the free WIFI is a really useful asset! My wife and I have travelled to lots of places and the Riad les 5 Soeurs is by far the best place we have ever stayed. I can't recommend the Riad enough! We will certainly stay there again!

"Lovely homely atmosphere"
I can not praise this Riad more highly, not only is it beautiful, tranquil and calming, the service you receive could not be better. The staff treat you like you are the most important people, you are made to feel so welcome and your every need is catered for. The food was amazing, better than any other restaurant we tried and cheaper. Every meal we had was delicious (especially the beef tagine) and I even managed to get the recipe of the aubergine salad to try at home. The holiday would have been good, but Sakine and Khadija made it perfect as well as meeting the owner Marc and his lovely familiy. I felt totally at home and comfortable and were made to feel that we were part of the family........i'm missing the Riad Les 5 Soeurs and want to go back!!!

Amazing place
I really enjoyed my stay in this Riad. The property is really nice and newly renovated. The staff was extremely polite and helpful, they would recommend what sights to visit and organise airport transfer and other things you need. I also liked that the Riad is in a part of the city which is very typical for Marrakech and not so touristic – in fact you see the real local life in the streets around the Riad and you can still reach the main square (Jaama el Fna) and all the main sights in short walking distance.
