A Marrakech Gem!
Our family and friends group of 8 stayed at Riad Birdy for 2 weeks. It was the perfect location for a true Moroccan vacation, offering lots of space for everyone-private bedrooms/ ensuites and common areas to hang out and get away from the busy city streets. Would definitely recommend adding Fatima’s delicious daily breakfast- a great way to start the day ! This riad was exactly as described! Only 2 suggestions- a little mini fridge on level 2 for the bar and a better freezer for the fridge.

Lovely Riad with super terraces
We stayed at the Riad for a week and found there was plenty of space for a family of eight (you could easily fit more), we needed five rooms and all of them were lovely, the beds were comfy and having en suites made everything easier. The two terraces provided ample space for us all to hang out together, with sun beds for each of us. At the same time, we could find somewhere to sit if we needed some alone time. The terrace at the top has the sun all day while the terrace with the pool was shady in the morning, then had sun all afternoon. The pool was not warm but refreshing The breakfasts were amazing, Fatima really looked after us and we wanted for nothing. She also cooked gluten free pancakes for my daugher who is coeliac. They filled us up so much that we ate little at lunch time! You can use the kitchen for drinks and your own food which is much more flexible than some Riads. Walking to the centre is fairly straightforward, a 15 minute walk. Or you can easily catch taxis from the end of the road (around 50-70 dirham to centre). There is a small shop at the top of the street for basics and stalls selling fruit and veg nearby. We used the CarreFour to buy alcohol and that was during Ramadam. It was nice to have a little beer or wine for sunset on the terrace. We organised the airport transfers through Matisse and the driver was really helpful and good value. We would definitely come to the Riad again, there would be no reason to look elsewhere, especially for a big group.

Super sejour
Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour à Marrakech. Le Riad est magnifique, en concordance totale avec l’annonce. Une véritable bulle de plénitude dans cette ville très active et bruyante. C’est ça le contraste de Marrakech. Le quartier n’a pas la situation la plus proche des lieux touristiques mais le chauffeur recommandé par notre hôte est très professionnel, toujours à l’heure et réactif pour toute demande de course. De ce fait nous avons bougé très facilement. Même à pied parfois! L’accueil, les indications et recommandations du propriétaire ont facilité nos vacances. En résumé un grand Merci nous sommes très heureux de notre séjour. Nous recommandons ce Riad sans hésitation.

Un séjour inoubliable dans un Ryad de rêve
Le Ryad Birdy est un havre de paix. Très beau, propre, très bien équipé, nous y avons passé de très beaux moments. Les espaces de vie sont dingues et les chambres spacieuses et confortables. Fatima est très discrète et adorable de gentillesse. Matisse toujours à l'écoute et très disponible. Le gazouillis des oiseaux vous réveille le matin, et ils viendront vous rendre visite sur les terrasses. Seul bémol, les repas proposés onéreux. Le quartier n'est pas touristique. L'épicerie située à 2 pas est très pratique et le vendeur très gentil. Bref un régal ! Nous étions 9 , nous sommes tous très emballés. Je recommande vivement.
