We had a wonderful time in this spacious, really unique riad. It was incredibly clean, quiet (though the call to evening prayer could be heard at times, but wasn't disturbing), and had lovely little touches like interesting art and decor. Phillippe met us the night we arrived and was so helpful and very nice. He only speaks French, but my husband is a French speaker so that worked out well. The riad is down one of the narrow little lanes in the medina, a short walk from the main square with tons of restaurants and shops. We had our breakfast prepared each morning by a lovely woman who's name I'm now forgetting, but that was such a treat. She can also prepare dinner, which we did once - delicious. The roof deck is great, has a hot tub which the kids loved. The downstairs bedroom is a little musty, but once we opened the bedroom doors and put the a/c on, it was fine. It was very hot the week we were there, but each room had a/c so it was perfectly comfortable. The only issue was the one night the power went out just in our riad (somehow the main switch tripped), and we couldn't get in touch with Phillippe, so we spent one VERY hot and uncomfortable night there. He arrived the next morning and sorted it out, but unfortunately, we didn't get a wink of sleep! Aside from that, it was a great experience.
