"We stayed for a month and really enjoyed the place. The house is a traditional French family home in a convenient village location. The house is well maintained and very well organised. Everything works. There is no airconditioning but the window shutters are mostly effective in keeping the house reasonably cool and well ventilated. (The exception was for a few days when we experienced a heatwave … with temperatures outside if 38-40C its probably not surprising that it was pretty uncomfortable...

"Nous avons passé de superbes vacances d'été en famille. La maison est exceptionnelle avec ses 6 chambres. Mon papa ne supportant pas la chaleur, il a pu se ressourcer à l'étage dans le salon climatisé, nous ne la mettions même pas en bas mais elle fonctionne très bien. Beaucoup d'équipements, de vaisselle, tout est pensé pour fonctionner en famille nombreuse. De 3 ans à 60 ans en passant par les ados, chacun a pu se créer des merveilleux souvenirs en famille. "Great space to enable different groups to do their own thing. Fantastic pool, and kitchen. (Found electric gate a bit hard to use-but appreciated the secutiry for cars and motorbikes). "

"We had a lovely time in the area with easy 30 mins to the beach or the mountains. The help and information from the hosts was excellent and the provision of the bikes was great. House was in a central location to the village with many amenities, restaurants and Boulangerie close by. Narrow streets could mean larger cars could find it more difficult. Lovely market on a Wed evening. Lack of air conditioning in the 2nd bedroom made sleeping more difficult in the south of France heat. "

"Maryvonne and Franco have a charming, village house in the historic and beautiful village of Castelnou. The house is simply but tastefully decorated and equipped with all you need for an enyoyable holiday. We made the most of the terrace and the wonderful views, for our breakfast and evening "sundowner". "Beautifully maintained and decorated house, with everything you could want for a comfortable stay in this interesting part of Roussillon, in the foothills of the Pyrenees. "Clean, comfortable and very well equipped throughout with quality appliances, bed linen, towels, etc. Set in beautiful Ceret, which is so close to the coast and with an excellent waterpark ten minutes away. If you like a comfortable bed and good bathroom, set in a nice old atmospheric town with lots of good restaurants then its a property well worth considering. "

"Our extended family group (2 families + grandparent+visiting friends) had a fabulous stay at Martin's holiday home. The children in our group loved the pool and spent hours in it, while the adults especially enjoyed breakfasts and dinners in the beautiful garden, all accompanied by the sound of fresh running water from the mountains. "We all enjoyed our stay. The area is very quiet, and on reflection a bit too quiet for us but would suit people looking to get away from it. The view from the garden is fantastic. The kids loved the pool and especially the tree house. The childrens room was absolutely fine for them and great to have a bath. House was.comfortable, lovely big sofa. "Nous avons passé un bon séjour, dans cette maison d’apparence extérieure et chalet à l’intérieur !!! Nous étions 16 : 8 adultes et 8 enfants de 14 à 5 ans . La pièce de vie est de très bien en terme de taille et d'agencement avec une magnifique vue ... la terrasse est petite mais agréable. Les échanges avec le propriétaire ont été très simples, il nous a permis d’arriver et de repartir à l’heure que nous désirions . Fatima qui est là personne qui s’occupe entre autre de la remise des clefs...

"Chalet idéalement placé entre plusieurs stations de ski. Vue imprenable, parking et espace de stockage pour les ski.Seul bémol le frigo est très sous dimensionné pour 16 personnes. Il faut penser a prendre les draps. "

"Super hotel. Staff are really friendly and helpful. The hotel is set in lovely grounds with a pool. The room had a balcony and working air conditioning. There is no EV charging on site but there's a McDonalds a very short distance away with rapid chargers. Really glad we found this hotel, it was an enjoyable stay. "

Superb farmhouse in a beautiful green setting, breathtaking view of the Canigou

Peaceful retreat

"We enjoyed a family holiday for 2 weeks in this beautiful rural property. Sylvain and Morgane were there to welcome us and show us around the house. They were so helpful and ready to answer any questions. We really appreciated their hard work. What a lovely couple! The house itself is clean and spacious. The kitchen is well stocked with everything one could need. Having an indoor fridge and an outside fridge in the outdoor kitchen was really useful with such a large group of us. The pool is a really good size for large groups too. There are plenty of sun loungers and chairs for at the pool. The hot tub was also well used by everyone despite the hot weather. The garden is beautiful with a lovely raised wooden walkway. PROS: Beautiful property in stunning setting, fantastic pool and entertainment area, well stocked kitchen, large dining area, peaceful surrounds. CONS: There were only 5 bedrooms, not 6 as described at the time that we booked. However the owner did open up his personal bedroom for our use, and the advert has since been revised. There is only A/C in 2 of the bedrooms. Because of the mosquitoes, we could not have any doors open at night, which made it very hot indeed with no A/C. The owner arrived with 4 guests during our stay and showed them around the house, including into one of the bedrooms. If we had been asked beforehand, we would probably have agreed to this (and tidied first), however we are not happy that this happened without our consent. "
