"The house was perfect for us. Well-equipped spacious and very quiet. The heated pool was great. The location was approximately 2 miles from medieval Sarlat, and 1 mile from an Intermarche supermarket. The host, Johanna was responsive and readily available. I highly recommend this house!"

"La p'tite bergerie is a beautiful gite, and has everything you need to make your stay homely and comfortable. It is set in an absolutely lovely area, very peaceful and relaxing, but is ideally located to many other towns, villages and sights this part of the Dordogne has to offer. Beatrice and Remy are fantastic hosts and nothing is too much for them, we really felt a friendship has been formed, so much so that we will be returning in December to enjoy their gite at Christmas time...can't wait!...

"Cathy Was a very pleasant lady . We had a bad storm and the electric went off , we contacted here and she with an electrician immediately. The down side is there is no wifi and the property is a little tired"

"This property is situated in a stunning area, slightly off the tourist track yet close to the Dordogne, Sarlat and the local large town Gourdon. The pool was a great size and our dog loved the adjoining meadow. The house was of a tradional style and had everything you could need with a well appointed kitchen and new appliances. Throughout Ana and Phillipe were attentive hosts and very helpful in providing information on how best to enjoy the area. We are already planning our return journey."

"Fantastic 2 weeks in a lovely house, glorious outside area including super-pool. Great location for lots of trips out with the kids, including canoeing, aquapark, pedalo, zoo, caves, tree climbing and of course the local château’s. "

"We were a multi-generational group, 8 adults, four young children/toddler and a baby and we had a brilliant week. The house is in a great location, with the river on the doorstep providing hours of fun, walking distance to boulangerie, supermarket, markets, pharmacy etc etc - a perfect combination of accessible to things, but also peaceful and beautiful location. Marie-Odile was a great host and very responsive once we arrived, although sometimes slow to answer queries before we came. Inside...

"Lovely spacious apartment. Ideally located for the centre of town. One small point - more light in the shower would be nice. Otherwise a great place to stay and discover Cahors and the surrounding area."

Cassac-Aillac is well placed with many of the iconic beauty-spots within easy driving distance. An extra bonus were the wonderful range of birds we had in the garden. Despite being near to the main village road, it was so peaceful"
