We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property! From the moment we arrived, it was clear how much care and attention the hosts put into every detail. The house was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The welcome note and hard cider were such a sweet personal touch.Communication with the hosts was smooth and friendly, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Beautiful Spacious House

Never had a better experience!!

I was blown away by this property from the very second I walked in! The area is gorgeous and so peaceful. The house was amazing, clean, and roomy. It had a huge, fully stocked kitchen where I got to make Thansgiving dinner. Loved the soaking bathtub to unwind. We look forward to returning one day. Thank you for sharing such a perfect place!

Beautiful secluded location

This home is SO spacious and our family of 10 had plenty of room to roam! The game room was a hit for all of us! We enjoyed S'mores and singing around the fire pit under the stars! The place was well stocked with amenities but bring your own tissues and maybe extra bug spray for summer months! Our drive to and from the park was quite enjoyable and we visited Mariposa and Oakhurst while there, as well! The communication with the host was so efficient and always got a quick response! Thank you for the great accommodations!

Exceeded all expectations – even better than the pictures!**My family rent homes throughout California every year, and this is the best place we've stayed so far. The location is remote and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. We skipped Yosemite due to the shutdown, but honestly didn’t miss it—this place had everything we needed.The home is spacious and mostly on one level, making it very comfortable and accessible. Though there were only four of us, the house could easily accommodate a group of up to 10. With two living rooms and a game room, everyone can spread out and enjoy their own space without feeling crowded.The kitchen is a dream—fully stocked with everything you’d need to cook just about any meal. The large island (with a second sink!) made it easy for two people to cook together, and the generous pantry is great for storing groceries for a big group.Our dogs had a blast running around the large fenced yard. The area is so quiet and remote that we never had to worry about them wandering into traffic. Meanwhile, we relaxed in the hot tub and watched them play—perfect!The house was spotless, and the hosts went above and beyond with amenities. It truly felt like a hotel stay: from the provided toiletries to extras like blow drier and toothbrushes, they thought of everything.The amazing hosts Amanda and Ramzi made the stay extra special. Highly recommend!

Great Stay

Our family of 10 stayed at this house in July. It was very well stocked, had everything we needed and plenty of room for everyone. AC worked fine. We loved the king size beds, hot tub and isolated location. It was perfect thank you!

Great property w/ lots of amenitiese

My family and I stayed here recently as we were going to spend a few days at Yosemite. The location was great, quiet, almost secluded, and a great place to unwind at the end of the day. The house was well stocked with kitchen supplies as well as amenities. Thank you for allowing us to borrow your fabulous home.

Wedding Destination

Our son’s wedding was this weekend in Yosemite National Park. The location was perfect for our event. The house was very clean and accommodated our small wedding guests. The views from the house were beautiful. The host was very nice they made accommodation for our group which we are very thankful. We would definitely recommend this property and if we need it will stay there again.

Beautiful Place - Great Location!

We had a wonderful stay at the property! Super spacious and comfortable for our big group. Also well stocked and super clean. The location is great for trips to Yosemite, Bass Lake or both! Great retreat

We loved our stay at Moonrise Lodge. 45 minutes to Yosemite, 15 minutes to town of Mariposa. Property was clean, well kept, well equiped kitchen and accessories. Would recommend anyone looking to spend time in Yosemite not camping in park look at this wonderfully comfortable place to escape.

A well-appointed spacious retreat

Two families had a great time on a pre-Christmas getaway at this beautiful home. Whether it was waking to snow-capped view from the large, fenced backyard, chatting over breakfast at the covered back patio, enjoying one of many games in the ‘game garage’ or simply lounging in the reading room where the owners had thoughtfully arranged for a lovely Christmas tree (our 8 year old was chuffed), the place had something for everyone. If we ever do this again, it will definitely be at this wonderful retreat.

A little slice of heaven

Moonrise Lodge was perfect! We had to change our vacation plans last minute and we hadn’t initially planned to stay here but we are so glad we did. The property is secluded and the views are gorgeous. The game room was a hit with the kids and the parents. Ping pong got a litttttle competitive! The kitchen is the best stocked of any vacation rental we’ve ever stayed in. Any utensil or gadget we needed was there. We can’t wait for our next visit!

Great getaway for a family reunion with pets

My family and I chose this property as a family reunion location for 10 people and 2 dogs. The owner communicated promptly and the check in process was super easy. My family loved the game room and we played a lot of ping pong. The house is very pet friendly and we loved the gated back yard area where the pups truly enjoyed themselves. The house is well stocked but we did run out of toilet paper and paper towels at some point. Not a big deal as we just bought more from town. The bathroom for the 3 main bedrooms did have a broken faucet (the handle to the hot water would fall off) other than that the house was incredible.

Ideal vacation home

Their place is ideal to just chill at home in the forest or even to be a base to go on adventures close by. Part of our friend group stayed home, chilling in the nicely fenced yard and playing in the game room and another group went to the park and everyone had a great time. The place is easy to get to, the manager is accessible, everything is well labeled and it was stacked with all kinds of kitchen stuff so you won’t miss a thing. The home is spacious for large groups.

Amazing Spot in the Woods

We had a great stay with our extended family. The house is on a beautiful wooded property and has a great view from the back yard. The house itself is laid out nicely, well-furnished, in excellent condition, and includes all of the amenities and comforts you could need. Everyone enjoyed the garage game room and fire pit, and there is a nice hike directly below the property (1 mile drive). The host, Ramzi, was communicative and left a few little welcome items, as well as hotel-style toiletries in each bathroom. This is an amazing spot for a group getaway.

Mountain Retreat for the Holiday

We had a fantastic time staying at the Mountain House. It was the perfect space for our family. The drive in to the park was beautiful, and not too far. The property is set up wonderfully for families, plenty of room to spread out and find your own space or visit and play. We even got snow, which was fantastic!

More than what we hoped it would be

Honestly? The photos don't do justice to the place. The house is big and so pretty, we were shocked when we walked in. The place has a lot of light coming in during the day, with a lovely view of the mountains. We spend there 4 days and all we could hear were the birds and the wind. Fantastic. At the same time, the place had everything we needed. Big TV, good WiFi, good working appliances in the kitchen, comfy beds, hot water in the shower, and lots of space. We had 2 dogs with us that enjoyed exploring the backyard. Both dogs are resource guard dogs, so letting them have treats and play with a ball so close to each other is not a good idea, but this place had enough space for both of them to run wild and explore without interrupting the other. Communication with the owners was always easy and fast. I highly recommend this place for your next vacation.
