This was a good economical choice for a place to sleep when we were going to be in the area for several days visiting family. Since we were going to be away from the hotel all day, we didn't need or want anything fancy, just needed a place to sleep, and likewise, looking to keep the price in the reasonable range. This was a good option -- about as economical as we could find in the area without it being a dump. The rooms were quiet and clean, the beds were very comfortable, the breakfast offered a nice variety of choices (however, it didn't seem that anyone was ever replenishing foods as they were eaten, so it was a little hit or miss). I would stay there again.

A motel 6 in disguise!!!
I found this hotel to be nothing more than a roadside motel wrapped up inside a nice exterior package. Outside of hotel looks like any other microtel but I found the hotel to be dirty and it smelled like smoke in my room even though Iowa has a smokefree air act in place and all rooms are supposed to be none smoking.I found found that this motel didn't have an actual breakfast even though they advertise a "go and Joe" breakfast. I guess I should have read about that more closely. I meanm come on who seriously wants to eat out of a vending machine for breakfast because thats basically what it was. they had a coffee machine and juice machine and that was it! Everything else was out of a vending machine. I was not IMPRESSED and probably will never stay there again. otherwise location was good. I liked being close to highway.

Good value, handy location.
Returned to the area near where I grew up for a high school reunion. Needed an inexpensive place to call 'home' for a few days. This location was handy for me and I felt very safe coming and going anytime. Modest accommodations that perfectly answered my need. Clean room, friendly staff. Thanks!
