"No WIFI, so bring your own internet connect but it really is a good place to just disconnect. Bring DVDs. Good dvd player and they do have a decent collection there. House is so nice and beds are very comfy. Staircase is very staircasey so make sure you are wearing anything but socks so you don’t slip on the smooth wood going up or down. We had a very nice time. "We originally booked the cabin so we could hike for the weekend. It ended up raining most of the time due to the effects of Hurricane Helene. We packed books and puzzles and had a wonderful time just relaxing away from all the noise. We were able to enjoy one afternoon out as well. Great stay! "

"My husband and I took our 3 sons ( 22 years old and twins that are 19). The cabin was perfect! It was very hot outside while we were there ( between 92-95 degrees every day but the AC kept up great and I was thankful for that! They have put a lot of wonderful touches and finishes on this cabin. It was very clean and comfortable. We loved the son porch that overlooked the river. We also loved the fire pit in the evenings. "Very enjoyable stay ... perfect size for my husband and I ... everything we needed. We spent a lot of time on the cute front porch enjoying nature from our seat on the glider. LOVED the swing hanging from the oak tree branch (took me back to my childhood). The neighborhood cat came over for a visit. My husband saw a hummingbird every morning.
