"We wanted 3 days by the beach to start our tour of Puglia. This was idea - not posh or luxury, but v nice local hotel ,well kept, extremely helpful staff, simply. Breakfast was basic but fine. Right opposite the beach, quiet road. As about restaurants near the tower, up a hill is a great one, at the bottom of the hill more local, also great. "It hurts to give middling ratings. The staff and mgmt were friendly and helpful (eg, they gave me a room close to the reception check-in, they provided transport to the train station when no other option was available). The problem is while the crew might be good they need to run a tighter ship, The property is showing its age, it’s up the hill from the town and is oriented to large groups. As a solo, shoulder season guest, we, the few, are lost in the cracks of pre-season prep. "
