"Our stay at the Carlton was more than what we were expecting, from the friendliness of the staff on the desks to the ladies cleaning our room. Very convenient for walking to the popular tourist spots, the hop on hop off bus stops were close by. Directly opposite Raffles hotel for the history buffs. Great location all round. "

Area around the property was nice, safe, and walkable. Shops and dining were a few steps from the hotel."

"Very easy for overnight stay from Darwin to Singapore and then catching flight out the next morning back to San Francisco. Gave us time to go see Jewel and walk around the area before flying out the next morning."

"Amazing hotel in prime location with easy access to the marina area. Stayed a few times and it never disappoints. Staff cannot do enough to help and are always around. My only advise is to pay extra for a marina view room (views at night are amazing) over and above the city view where views may be limited. "
