We are two retired couples traveling in St. Lucia for two weeks. The boathouse cabin is not luxury condo living but that’s what’s so great about this place. You can’t get much closer to the water, and waking up each morning and seeing the ocean below the floor boards is so enchanting. We swam right off the deck at least twice every day. There is also a pool available if you’d rather. The boathouse is away from the hustle and bustle of Marigot Bay, but only a one minute boat ride to many great restaurants and coffee shops. If you choose to you can also walk a couple of minutes to another restaurant. If you stay any length of time you will get to know Henry, the skipper of the Ginger Lily, as he ferries you back and forth. His politeness and sense of humor are so endearing. Our hosts, both Vicky and Kiki, were very helpful and so accepting of our many questions and they very graciously assisted arranging flowers for our anniversary.
We would highly recommend this quaint boathouse in Marigot Bay. You won’t be disappointed.
