Plan your travel around our designated arrival time of 4 PM and departure time of 11 AM. If necessary, changes to these times may be accommodated for an additional fee, but we kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice for any modifications. Changes in time will depend on availability.

Our home is situated in a rural area, which means that you may encounter local wildlife. While we treat the exterior to deter pests such as insects and mice, it's important to understand that these creatures can occasionally find their way inside. Mice, in particular, can enter through small openings, drawn in by food, water, and shelter, often seeking nesting sites in cluttered areas like attics or basements. Those who are apprehensive about wildlife may find our space less suitable.

Please note that there is no cell service in the area. To make and receive calls, activate WiFi Calling in your phone settings.

During winter months (October to April), when snow and ice are likely, it's advisable to have winter or all-season tires. All-Wheel Drive (AWD) or Four-Wheel Drive (4WD) is recommended for navigating snowy conditions. Check the weather before your arrival and adjust your travel plans as needed. If you're not used to driving in snow, you can find helpful tips online through resources like AAA. Rest assured, the driveway is regularly plowed and maintained, and a shovel is provided for your use to keep a safe walkway during your stay.

The property operates on a private well and septic system. To ensure a reliable water supply and protect the system, please avoid using sprinklers, kiddie pools, or Slip ‘N Slides. These can quickly deplete the well and strain the water pump, potentially causing damage and costly repairs for which guests would be responsible. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping maintain the property’s water system.

- No parties. The house should only accommodate the number of guests listed in the reservation. Please inform the host about any daytime visitors.
- Smoking or vaping indoors is prohibited. If you need to smoke, please do so outside, ensuring it's fully extinguished and disposed of properly. A fine of $500 will be imposed for any evidence of smoking inside the property.
- One dog may be accepted with prior approval and an additional fee.
- No ATVs, snowmobiles, fireworks, or firearms are allowed.
- Quiet hours are from 9 PM to 8 AM; please keep outdoor noise to a minimum.
