The Hamptons at Marengo offers breathtaking views of Apollo Bay’s iconic scenery from every room, encompassing the ocean, Cape Patton, Bass Strait, Apollo Bay beaches, the hinterland, and the lush surrounding hills.
Nestled on 2.5 acres of established native gardens and manicured lawns, this retreat provides a serene environment to relax and watch the world go by. The spacious and elegantly presented interior features two expansive entertaining decks, furnished for comfort, where you can savor the uninterrupted vistas. A Weber BBQ is available for preparing delightful meals, and an outdoor shower is provided for a refreshing rinse after your adventures.
All rooms are conveniently located on a single level. The home’s entry leads to a large, well-equipped designer kitchen with European appliances, including a double oven, gas cooktop, dishwasher, a generous island bench, microwave, and pantry. Adjacent to the kitchen is a dining room with a large 10-seat table, and a sitting room with a wall of books and sliding glass doors opening to the deck. This wing also includes two bedrooms, a family bathroom with bath and shower, a separate toilet, and a laundry with a washer and dryer.
The South wing of the house features the main living area, complete with a Coonara wood fire, with firewood provided for your stay. This area also includes a TV, DVD player, and Bose surround sound system. A second living room offers an additional TV and is stocked with an extensive range of toys, books, and games for all ages. The remaining two bedrooms and an ensuite bathroom with shower and toilet are located here, along with a separate powder room.
The home is warmed by electric floor heating and heaters in most rooms. While the house remains a cozy retreat during cooler months, please note that it does not have air conditioning. On rare occasions of exceptionally hot days with no breeze, the house can become quite warm.
Conveniently located, The Hamptons at Marengo is just a short drive from the shops, cafes, and restaurants of Apollo Bay.
