"I booked a room with a king bed through Expedia. When we opened the door to our room we saw a dining table, a kitchen area, a queen bed and a trundle bed. I asked a staff person at the front desk if all the rooms were like this & was told the room I booked online with a king bed wasn't available and they upgraded us to this room at no extra charge. Wow! This is a ski resort located in a very scenic area and would recommend this resort to anyone who downhill skis. We were very pleased with our stay at Whitecap Mountains Resort! All the staff people were very friendly."

"We stayed for a family weekend with our adult son. Loved the proximity to hiking trails and restaurants & brewery in Washburn. The place isn't fancy, but was perfect for us. We enjoyed the sauna and campfires outside."
