Thank you for considering Plumeria Point with Sugar Sand Stays our newly renovated Marco Island home as your next family vacation! We are excited for you to experience all that Marco has to offer. This island has the most gorgeous beaches, beautiful water, and delicious restaurants!
Our completely renovated home features all new furniture with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an open floor plan that totals over 1500 sq ft. We have a king primary suite with built in office space for those who still need to get a little work done while in paradise. The primary also has a huge walk-in closet and your own en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen size bed also with ample closet space. The third bedroom is perfect for our younger guests featuring two bunk beds. The second bathroom has a shower/tub combo with two sinks. The two guest bedrooms have the additional benefit of added separation from the main living space with an extra door to close off the noise (I mean fun happening) from the main living areas of the home. While we welcome children please know that our home is not baby proofed. We do provide a pack and play and high chair for your convenience.
The open floor plan allows for a very inviting family experience. The main living space features plenty of seating around a large screen TV. Off the living room is a cozy game/sitting area with lots of fun family games and puzzles! (We even have Marco-poly and a puzzle map of Marco Island!) The bright kitchen has all new appliances and quartz countertops with bar seating for 2. The kitchen opens to the dining room area which can seat up to 6 people. (leaves available for additional seating)
The dining/living room feature 2 sliding glass doors that open to an expansive enclosed private lanai. Enjoy lounging by the pool and getting some sun on our 2 pool loungers or pool floats. If sun is not your thing we also have a shaded area where you can enjoy relaxing watching your favorite sporting event or show on our large screen TV. Sit under the outdoor fan and enjoy a nice dinner at our brand new patio table which has seating for 8! At night, grab a comfy seat and turn on the fire pit and enjoy a glass of wine and relax in the sitting area! You could even book a fishing charter for the day and bring your local catch home to grill on our new Weber grill. You really can enjoy the best of both indoor and outdoor living at Plumeria Point.
If you want to head to the beach, it is only a 5 minute car ride away. We have a beach cart, 4 beach chairs, 2 umbrellas, beach blanket, coolers, and sand toys for you to have a fun filled day exploring the breath taking sugar sand beaches of Marco Island!
We are centrally located in Marco Island so everything is only about 5-7 minutes way from the house. The new Publix is only 2 minutes away. You can even take advantage of a new FREE bus service that will take you anywhere on the island. Use the two bikes to explore the island and visit the many shops and restaurants that Marco has to offer.
Marco Island is our home away from home so we welcome any questions to help you plan the perfect family holiday. Need recommendations on renting bikes, scheduling a fishing charter, or renting a boat with a captain to take you out for the day…let us know! We can make any recommendations you need. We are here to help you have the most memorable vacation for you and your family or friends!
Parking: You can park one car/suv in the garage and two in the driveway. Per Marco Island code you can’t park a trailer or boat in the driveway. You can park a small RV in the driveway as long as it is not covering the sidewalk. You would have to obtain a free permit from the Marco Island police department and affix it to your RV in a conspicuous place. If you do not have the permit the property will be fined on a daily basis and the fines will be taken from your security deposit.
Cameras: We have one camera on property. It is the ring door bell at the front door. The rear camera on the pool patio is OFF during your stay for privacy reasons. We have it as security when the house is empty.
NOTE: As per the Transient Rental Noise Control 30-90.9
Any noise shall not be plainly audible for a period of one (1) minute or longer at a distance of twenty-five (25) feet or more when measured from the source property line between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. daily and at a distance of fifty (50) feet or more when measured from the source property line between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., daily.”
Security Deposit: A $1000 Security Deposit HOLD will be accessed to your credit card on file two days prior to your stay. This is NOT A CHARGE, it is a hold for violations of the ordinance or damage done to the property during your stay. The hold will be released 5 days after your departure if no violations/damage is found.
Cancellation: If you cancel within the Fully refundable period you will get a full refund minus the processing fees.
NOTE: Pools are heated to at least 85 degrees but the heater only works when the pool motor is on. It does not run 24 hours a day. It will loose some temperature overnight and once pool heater turns back on it will heat the pool again up to the set temperature. Most Heat Pumps automatically shut off when the temperature drops below 50 degrees Fahrenheit to prevent damage.
NOTE: Use of bikes are at your own risk. We do not inspect them between each renter. If is the renters responsibility to inspect the bikes and deem them acceptable for your own use.
NOTE: IF YOU ARE BOOKING DURING HURRICANE SEASON…(Normally around August-October) Please be aware that if you DO NOT purchase the travel insurance offered or buy your own and you get sick/have flight issues/weather issues/etc and cannot make your trip we have a NO REFUND policy. PLEASE BUY TRIP INSURANCE TO PROTECT YOURSELF.
