Awful communication from Vacasa
I want to be clear, this review is targeted towards Vacasa, the rental property management for this home, not the actual owners. To the owners, the property was great and clean. I highly advise you change rental management companies. Thank you.
Upon checking in, I noticed the pool and hot tub was not heated. I specifically requested them to be heated. This is a core amenity of the household, so I wanted this at least addressed. I reached out to Vacasa and verified I was following directions properly to heat the hot tub/pool. Let it run a couple hours, zero difference. They said they referred it to their local team.
I followed up every couple hours during the entirety of my stay, because I was not getting updates. The updates were “there is no update”. I was very disappointed not only they were not attempting to address the issue, but it required me to reach out to try and keep them on top of it. Halfway through the stay, I noticed the pool heater control panel was showing an error code. I passed this along to Vacasa, but they were completely unresponsive. I’d rather them tell me that they are not able to address this issue or there was nothing they could do, rather than stringing me along. I realized after, they did this, so I could not check out and claim I stayed for the entire stay, making my options limited. If you’re going to manage luxury properties like this one, you need to act like it.
