This is such a wonderful house. It's in a truly beautiful setting. The pool is brilliant. Out family of 5 had a lovely relaxing stay. Communication with the owner and the housekeeper was very easy and kind. The house is situated near to lots of sites of interest. Highly recommended.

Heel goed
We hebben er een fijne tijd gehad. Zwembad was heerlijk.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful authentic house with 4 adults and 3 children. The wheather wasn’t that good, but the house, veranda and kitchen were very comfortable. Bigger than we thought. May be it’s good to know that 2 bedrooms (2p and 1p) are downstairs, only reachable from the outside and actually only to sleep (and shower👍).
The warm pool is really large, clean with enough deck chairs.
We’ve had good contact with the owner who was very helpfull and kind.
Overall: good stay even with the could-be-better-wheater!
Merci Tania !
What a wonderful location, with lots of space and a large pool with a stunning view.

Amazing place to switch off from the world
Tania was great throughout the process and then, when we arrived, we knew it would be just the kind of holiday we wished for. As a family of 5 (children aged 12,10 & 7), we could have lovely meals out on the veranda with stunning views over the countryside without another house in sight. The kids could make as much noise as they wanted in the swimming pool and there were marathon games of table-tennis keeping everyone entertained. Away from the house, we had some great days tree-top walking, fun at the beach on the Lake (Lac de Miel in Beynat was brilliant), canoeing down the Dordogne (9k/2hr trip from Argentat had some fun rapids) and lunch at La Barbacane in Curemont. Great fun and extremely relaxing. Thank you Tania.

A peaceful and relaxing idyll
Naudoux is a very lovely house in a beautiful place. The house is comfortable and well equipped - an easy place to be. We - like many before us - found going out tricky and spent much of our time being. The swimming pool is excellent - our toddler had a lovely time on the shallower part and the bigger ones throughly enjoyed the length. The view from the balcony is beautiful and the stars amazing. A wonderful place to relax and rejuvenate.

A little piece of heaven.
Naudoux was lovely, we spent more time relaxing on this holiday at the house than we have ever done before. All our meals were eaten on the veranda overlooking the beautiful countryside. The pool was amazing and we spent time in and around it every day. The house was a great base for sightseeing the area, as although away from the hustle and bustle it was within easy driving distance of many of the attraction the area had on offer. Our only negative was no microwave but in the grand scheme of things this seemed minor. We would definitely recommend the property and as seasoned visitors to France we would put Naudoux in our top 5.

Naudoux is an oasis of calm, restorative relaxation. The house is perfectly located with beautiful views across the nearby hills and villages, and is surrounded on all sides by farmers' fields (occupied by lovely Limousin cows), guaranteeing peace and quiet. The saltwater pool is a refreshing reprieve from the summer heat, and gentle on the skin. Access to the property by car is convenient and local services (and sights) are not far off (e.g. 10 minutes to Vayrac, 15 minutes to the Dordogne river). In sum, a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Stunning, the perfect place to go and relax
I went to Noudoux in May and had the most heavenly time there with a bunch of friends. The house is stunning, set deep in the country side, beautiful views, yet only a short distance from local villages and markets. I've actually been three times. When its sunny and warm the poolside day is a dream, and when its not, the big fire inside keeps the house warm and cozy. The house has an altogether charming character. Its the perfect place to go with some friends and cut off and relax.

The perfect escape
I couldn't recommend Naudoux more highly, especially if looking for peace and tranquility and a feeling of escape. It's in such a beautiful setting - hours could be spent sitting on the balcony admiring the views. Or indeed walking in the hills that surround it. The house is full of character and very comfortable. A huge fire for chilly evenings. I can't wait to go back!

A lovely place to stay in a be
The moment you arrive at Nadoux you just know it's going to be a lovely place to be.You walk up the steps to the verandah and behold the stunning views over beautiful countryside.Inside the house is very well equipped and comfortable, lived in and homely.we ate all our meals out on the verandah,in the evenings we would watch the deer come out to graze on the hillside, sometimes as many as seven or eight,we also saw a fox on a couple of occasions, with this in mind take binoculars with you.
The surrounding area is a pleasure to explore with several of the beaux village within easy distance,Curemont is an easy walk and a lovely village to explore. The local town of Meyssac is our favourite shopping venue with a really good market and shops also not a bad place to have a relaxing beer or two.
The four of us really enjoyed experiencing the local wines, be adventurous and give them a go,you will not be disappointed.
The pool area is great, a nice big pool to lounge around and relax, and when you get too hot there is plenty of shade, just perfect.
We really enjoyed our stay at Nadoux and hope to make many more visits,it is a beautiful part of France, thankyou.

Classic French Idyll
Naudoux is a
real treat with beautiful views across the valley. We were a group of friends and we had 5 days of eating fantastic food from the local market, swimming in the pool and going for long walks. There is masses to see in the area and then you come home to big fires and a very comfortable house. This is a house I would enormously recommend, I can't wait to go back.

The description accurately conveyed the reality.
After a 7 hour flight from Philadelphia to de Gaulle and a 5 hour drive to Naudoux, we arrived at our 'home' for the next two weeks. A better place to decompress could not be imagined.
The first week our daughter and son-in-law were with us. What a joyous time we had visiting many quaint villages steeped in history, and most significantly, sitting on the verandah allowing the pastoral scene envelop us with a sense of peace and serenity.
The second week when the weather turned cooler and cloudy we visited a few additional charming villages coming home to our resident cows and allowing them to show us how to be peaceful and contented while the rest of the world whizzes by.
We visited the fruit and vegetable market at Sarlat. The lunch we had at the Presidial was superb. The many medieval villages we visited -- Beaulieu sur Dordogne, Loubressac, TurenneGimal les cascades, Arnau-pompadour, Autoire, to name just a few -- were charming each in their own way. Les jardins du manoir d'Erignac were spectacular.
For a special farewell with Beth and Bill we dined at Relais St Anne in Martel. The food was exceptional and well worth the price.
Each time we drove up the drive we felt that we had arrived home. The location is perfect, the name itself giving off a feeling of warmth emanating from its charm creating a special atmosphere for us to begin our retirement years.

Naudoux - a rural retreat
This is a delightful house to stay in, and a really interesting part of rural France, which is great for walks. We visited in September and had mixed weather, but little stopped us enjoying the all weather veranda and the biggest swimming pool we have ever experienced.
If you want a quiet retreat, this is for you. You are surrounded by fields and cows and little else, and the real treat is the beautiful light that streams into the house at sunrise. If you taking a large family and friends, (not that I would want to do that) there is plenty of room to spread out so you are not on top of one another. Having space like this is great.
You are a 45 minute walk away from the nearest large community which is the historic hill top town of Curemonte - if you are an artist you wont want to move from here. The only cafe there was unfortunately closed for holidays, but during the summer I cant think of anything nicer than walking there early evening, enjoying good food and wine, and walking back.
Meyssac is a delightful market town about 15 minutes away, and the boulangerie in the market square sells the best bread for miles. Do go there on market day and have a drink in the sports cafe, and watch the locals shuffle about their business. On the Friday market they have an excellent fish stall.
We did not visit any restaurants, mainly because they could not compete with the delight of sitting on the veranda in the evenings, and because we love to cook.
The house keeper, Fiona, who lives the other side of Curemonte, took good care of us, supplied us with some DVD's, and is a very interesting to talk to.
I would highly recommend this property. i would say that the initial description we read about this house understated its charms.
