"my fiancè & I loved our 2 night stay here !!! very close to train & bus terminals. even walking distance to some parts of the area. the view is spectacular!! they offer free breakfast, which was perfect, & even offered complimentary chocolate due to some renovations happening, which didn't even bother the both us. our room was so clean too !! and above all, STAFF IS AMAZING. we will definitely go back <3 "

"Location, location, location….the Astoria has it locked in. Need the train? Just down the street. Need to go see the lake? Again, docks are down the street. Shopping? Dining? Yep, just down the street. Convenience was appreciated for myself and family during our stay. The Astoria met our needs. "

"Hotel is very close to the train station as well as Old Town, Chapel Bridge and Boat Tours. It also offers a delicious breakfast with friendly staff. Coffee, Tea, fruit, and sometimes sweet treats are available 24 hours in the “breakfast” room. We stayed in a superior room which was very small and the bathroom had the feel of being in a camper… super small! We would stay there again because of the inexpensive rate and location. If you are looking for luxury this is not the hotel for you"

"We were surprised to find our accomodation used to be a prison and our room was one of the cells. It was adequately but sparsely furnished in keeping with the theme. Everything was clean and tidy and the staff were very helpful. A fun and different experience."
