This is a good, well-equipped get-friendlycottage
The cottage allows for an amazing experience, with the sea views and the opportunity to sit on the balcony in the warmer weather. It is well equipped and ideal for taking a dog- furnished accordingly. Fantastic location, couldn't be better, in fact, and would certainly return!

seaside bliss
This is a superb location , uninterrupted ocean views and pubs , restaurants and pubs a few hundred meters away along with a grocery store and ATM .The cottage is very well equipped and cozy and other than the welcome noise of the Herring Gulls and Jackdaws silent . The owner was very keen to ensure we were comfortable and provided for and we did feel completely welcome . It is placed right in the centre of all the best spots , Cape Cornwall is a must see . We with some careful attention managed to get our Audi Q5 down the access lane without mishap .We will without a doubt return , it was authentic and the real Cornwall .

Too good to be true!
We'd spent a huge amount of time researching places to stay in Cornwall and finally chose Little Trevara. What an absolute find. This holiday cottage has it all - great living space/kitchen, lovely bedrooms and open space for the dogs. What made it all the more special was the fabulous views over St Michael's Mount and the dog friendly beach a few minutes walk away, with the village being no more than a 10 minute stroll. We will definitely be back and can't rate this highly enough - although we don't want to say too many good things about it in case it's not available the next time we want to stay! An easy summary - a gem! :-)

Keep this one a secret - Perfect!
This was our second stay at Little Trevara in the last 6 months. That is how soon we wanted to return! Even more sad to leave than the first time! This little gem is tucked away with perfect views out to sea and St Michael's Mount. Little Trevara has everything you need for the most relaxing stay, a place to unwind and chill out with a glass of wine on the balcony. I cannot speak highly enough of Sally, the owner, in the booking process - absolutely faultless. And after our long journey down, Janet had laid on tea and biscuits! Now that is 5* service. The parking for Trevara is such a bonus. The walk to the centre of Marazion is minutes away to relax with a morning drink in the Coffee Lounge or a stroll across to The Mount. Some great walks along the South West Coastal path are also minutes away. The views are amazing. Plenty of options to eat out, although a nice piece of fresh fish from Newlyn eaten back at Little Trevara is hard to match. Simply the best place for us. A well recommended property, although I wish I could keep it a secret - it is so wonderful!

Christmas 2019
The cottage is in a wonderful location and overall very comfortable. There are a couple of areas that I think needs some attention. On the surface the accommodation was clean, however some of the saucepans were dirty, under the settee there was food and the cushion covers were dirty. Perhaps more attention to detail with regards to cleaning would be good. All the patio doors stick and we couldn't open any windows. The bathroom could do with updating, there is no fan and we could not open a window after showers. You advertise a Tamisco coffee machine, I especially bought the appropriate pods to find that the machine is a different make. In a minor note the small Christmas tree was a nice touch but the lights were broken. The Prosecco and mince pies were a nice touch, thank you.

Lovely cottage overlooking the sea
Had a lovely stay at Little Trevara. Would recommend esp. for 3-4 person family. One observation about this listing: the property contains two units - Trevara and Little Trevara. The listing for Little Trevara (which this review is about) includes photos for Trevara. The photo descriptions clearly indicate this but only seem to be visible when viewing the photos on the Vrbo app but not the website. Wasn’t a problem for us but could see how it could be a bit confusing for others. The cottage was nice, clean, and comfortable with beautiful views of the sea and if you stepped out on the nice first level patio you can get good views of St. Michael's Mount. Weather wasn't great for us at the end of October so we didn't spend much time on the patio. The upstairs contains the kitchen, dining table, and lounge. It’s a nice open space that was really good for our family to spend time together in. Not big but comfy. Main bedroom with double bed is a good size and looks out onto a ground level patio. The other ground floor bedroom has two twin beds and is a bit cramped but fine for kiddos. The kitchen was pretty usable with a good array of utensils, crockery, pots and pans. Not atypical to vacation rentals - there were no basic cooking ingredients like salt or pepper. Not a complaint - just an observation for future guests. Internet was fast and stable. TV was fine but no apps so bring an HDMI adapter to play from your phone/tablet or being one of those smart TV sticks (i.e. FireTV) if you want to watch anything more than terrestrial. Came in quite handy as the days were getting shorter and the weather was less than ideal. The hosts were super helpful and very keen that we had a good stay. We decided to not bring/hire a car for this holiday which worked out fine. The cottage is a 5-10 minute walk away from the the centre of Marazion which has a few pubs, restaurants and other things. Very comfortable. There are good buses that run on the road the cottage is on which get you quickly to big grocery stores or Penzance. Going the other direction is a relatively quick ride across to St. Ives. And of course the cottage is super close to St. Michael’s Mount and nice walks along the beach. During the October half-term, the crowds were relatively light but still a nice buzz to the town during the day. Can imagine summertime gets a bit mental with so many visitors! Would stay again. Thank you to the hosts for a lovely visit.

Needs a little updating
Upstairs was fabulous and the view was as magnificent as the brochure promised. However, downstairs was not as fabulous: the small room was damp and musty. The small garden was perfect for our dog; but the access to the car from the property needs some addressing. It is not feasible to park the car and then walk round the block carrying food etc when there is a 50 yard path! Surely a compromise could be had that when returning in your car then the path through Trevara could be used. For the price paid, having paid similar prices in Newquay last year for a beach property, the property was sadly not to the same standard.

Stay at Little Trevara
We had a great stay at Marazion in “Little Tervara” We managed to negotiate the side access in a large estate car, you just have to take your time but plenty of parking when you arrive. The view over Mounts Bay was wonderful and we all enjoyed the lounge being on the second floor, making the most of the view. Great location to explore deepest Cornwall which is rugged and interesting.

Excellent location ideal for exploring many beautiful places and stunning coastal walks.
Little Trevara was perfect for us with our dog. It's cosy, simple but stylish, well equipped and the views are wonderful. It was great to sit in the living room and on the balcony and stare out to sea. Excellent location so close to the beach and Marazion town which is lovely. Parking is fine if you take it slowly down the narrow lane. We wished we stayed longer.

A lovely cottage, close to all amenities
We had a comfortable stay with our pooch. The cottage was great, very clean and tidy. The views were awesome. The place with its garden is great for dogs. There's plenty to do in the area, wonderful walks along the beach and of course up to St Michael's Mount.

A wonderful winter holiday
We had a fantastic stay in Little Trevara with our 2 dogs this November. The cottage had everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay with great views to see from the lounge. Our Pick Up could not get down the lane to park but this was no big issue as we were aware of the restrictions before hand so parked on the road to unload and then left the car in the village centre. Good walks locally and lots of pubs for evening. Excellent base

Great holidays in a nice cottage with gorgeous sea views
We - that is my husband, me and our Australian Shepherd - enjoyed two lovely weeks exploring Cornwall during a period of sunny weather - lucky us! - always coming "home" to this very nice cottage after a long day out . It is situated in the small town of Marazion, so many shops are in walking distance. To reach the South West Coast Path you have to walk briskly for 10-15 minutes or you get acces over the beach, which is 3 min. away. From the spacious balcony, one can look at the sea and remember the day. The kitchen equipment is complete - we didn´t miss a thing. The Lady who cares for the cottage is very nice and helpful. The property was absolutely clean and well-maintained. And - good if you want to bring children or a pet: It is enclosed, so no one can get away (if you close the doors) :-) For the workoholis and surfoholics: The WIFI is excellent! We can only recommend this cottage!

Ausgezeichnet !

Perfect!
Great Cornish village house, fantastic, dramatic sea view from open plan kitchen/diner/lounge and elevated terrace. Excellent location in Marazion, easy walk to village, really good pub food and Ben's Kitchen was a surprising bonus - high-end London quality food/service (we went twice), must book. Coastline in Cornwall and particularly this area is spectacular. Took our dog and she was welcome everywhere which makes life easier and relaxing. House delivered everything as promised, we could not ask for anything more! Recommend to anyone who loves this part of the world and anyone who has not tried it.

Perfect Seaside Escape
Having just returned from a lovely relaxing break at Little Trevara, our second stay there, I can highly reccomend it. It is warm, cosy, dog friendly, suitable for any season and the best feature is the amazing view. You can enjoy watching the sea from the comfort of the sitting room whatever the weather! The open plan living accomodation upstairs is bright and spacious with a well equiped kitchen and generous seating area. Downstairs the master bedroom is a good size with a large comfortable bed. There is also a small twin and bathroom. Both the owner and house keeper are very friendly and helpful. There were some mince pies, milk and bubbly waiting for us upon arrival which we thought was a nice touch. With regard to the parking we have medium size car and with a little care turning into the lane had no problem parking at the rear of the property. Marazion is a wonderfully authentic Cornish village with plently of amenities. I would reccomend a meal at the Kings Arms which serves excellent food for such a small pub also Delicious deli/cafe is very good too and both are dog friendly. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning sometime soon.

Charming Cottage
Just back from a great long peaceful weekend staying at Little Trevara. A cute cottage with fantastic views over the sea and St. Michaels Mount. The acccommodation is perfect, well equipped and presented. I loved having doors from the main bedroom leading onto the courtyard and the kitchen/lounge with doors onto the terrace/views which Im sure would be great in the summer. The housekeeper was friendly and could not do enough for us - very helpful. Great restaurants, pubs, beach all within a short walk. We thought the Godolphin Arms food/atmosphere was really good. Plenty of places for walking etc., and locals all very friendly. As we had a biggish car we decided not to try the narrow access to the parking space so used the village car park (nominal charge in the Summer) which was no problem. Would certainly go back again.
