"We stayed in the Kauri chalet and really liked it. The view is great. The connecting room, Rata’s view is even better, but that room is much smaller. If you are a bigger group, booking these two rooms together will be perfect. We woke up to the birdsongs and had a peaceful breakfast on the balcony. The stairs bring the charm to the place and we did not mind the extra steps. Owner/staff are very friendly. PAKnSAVE is only 6 minutes drive away."

Loved the decor and the deck protected you from the summer sun.Rod would periodically check in to see if we needed anything, like extra towels. "What a wonderful place this is. It is so calm and serene with a stunning outlook over the surrounding farms. The place is a great size, it literally has everything you need (the kitchen is very well stocked and there are lovely Eco-store bathroom products to use, plus there was fresh milk, towels, a dishwasher, and washing machine), it is impeccably clean and beautifully decorated.
