Accommodation

The villa is a Mediterranean style home on two levels.
It has 3 double bedrooms, all equipped with air conditioning. One of the bedrooms has an indipendent access.
There are 3 bathrooms, an additional external shower, a fully equipped kitchen and a lovely living/dining area inspired by Mediterranean sea colours.

Around the house there is a spacious garden where you can enjoy wonderful views from almost every corner and a wonderful Pool where to cool down during hot days.
There is a dining area with typical stone barbecue, different terraces where to relax and fill your eyes with blue, a mediterranean garden behind the house and a romantic terrace on the upper part of the villa, where to enjoy the wonderful view of the bay and the stars at night.

Location

Villa Myra is located on a hill overseeing the marvelous Cann'e Sisa Bay and the entire Gulf of Cagliari.
In front of the Villa there are only the blue sea and amazing sunsets.
Approximately 700 m from the beach, 100 m from the rocks, and 2 Km from the supermarket and restaurant.

Torre delle Stelle

Torre delle Stelle is a peaceful residential village on the Southern coast of Sardinia, 30 Km East from Cagliari. It is named after the Saracen tower on the top of the promontory between two marvellous sandy beaches, Genn'e Mari and Cann'e Sisa. With its fine white sand beaches, crystal clear waters, wild rocks and nature, Torre delle Stelle is a perfect escape plan from the city’s routine, a place to enjoy the sun, the beach and the Mediterranean nature.

Absolutely worth 5 stars.
Stayed for a week with family. There is no perfect property, but this is as close as it gets. First, let me get the very slight negatives out of the way. Access roads are horrendous. Wifi is spotty. In the 7 days we were there we did not get a hint of warm water at the kitchen sink (but showers had plenty of hot water). There is no storage in showers so you put your shampoo/soap right on the floor. Washer/dryer menu is in German (a positive if you speak German, I guess - we don't). Fridge door will open on its own occasionally. Now the positives. Clean air. Very quiet. Pool area 2 hours before sunset onwards is magic. Stunning views. Very clean. Plenty of space. Gloria is super responsive. Casita is great, with separate access and its own bathroom. All in all, GREAT property. Highly recommended.

I know it’s a cliche but the photos really don’t do this place justice. It is a beautiful villa and Gloria is a dream to deal with. On top of the 3 Queen size bedrooms (one on a separate building next to the pool) you also get a bonus room with bunk beds! Would highly recommend.

Perfect simplicity perched above the sea
Villa Myra is a beautiful home, with luxury in its simple elegance and focus on the main things that matter in its situation: an infinity pool outside the bedroom doors that’s big enough to actually swim in; quiet aircon in the bedrooms and main lounge, a lovely Mediterranean garden and many sun terraces. The location is hard to better given its convenience for nearby sandy beaches and shops, and Gloria is a charming and tactful host, attentive when needed, mindful of your privacy otherwise. A magical stay, to be highly recommended.

Beautiful Villa
We were lucky to spend a week here in June. We were met by Gloria for check-in and given the keys and a tour of the property. It is a beautiful property overlooking the Gulf of Cagliari with all of the amenities needed for a wonderful stay. I can understand why people come back yearly. I would love to also although it’s quite a trip from Canada. Thank you Gloria for helping us have a fantastic week with our family!

Villa Myra - At Last!!
We didn’t think we would have to wait so long to return to Villa Myra after our visit in 2019. Two years came and went and we couldn’t arrange our holiday – and you start to worry that things may have changed and not be the same – They were better!! Still great service from our host, the wonderful Gloria. She answers email queries quickly and offers support and solutions to any worries. She welcomed us on arrival and checked during the stay that all was well. We did not hire a car this time as hire charges had soared, and a supermarket delivery easily stocked us with all the heavy items on arrival day – and most importantly the wine! The villa – and the pool- just as lovely as before and an additional en-suite room will make it even lovelier for larger groups. The bars and restaurants, and beaches were all close enough to reach on foot – and the two local supermarkets close enough to manage any lighter items we needed. In fact the walking made us smug enough to never say no to an extra G & T! We missed the Lime Bar – Uncle Fabio and Rikki – gone but not forgotten - but the new Aquarium with Farra Pizza Restaurant and the finer dining “Mosaico” are well worth a visit and lovely surroundings. The other beach restaurants are all clean, friendly and nice to visit and some have loungers and umbrellas to hire. Everyone in Torre delle Stelle was friendly and helpful, with or without the language. If you like a beautiful view, a fabulous pool visited by a host of house martins in the morning, really comfortable beds and a friendly quiet village - Villa Myra really is for you!

This is our fourth visit in the last five years and we are always happy to come back and vacation here. Torre delle Stelle has a relaxed vibe and Villa Myra is wonderfully positioned for privacy and fantastic views of the bay and sunsets. Pool is top notch. Gloria and Luca are superb hosts. This was the 3rd year running that we rented Villa Myra in July. That in itself says it all. The house is clean, comfortable, secluded yet not isolated, and the pool is fantastic with stunning views over the bay of Cann'e Sisa. The owners are extremely welcoming, kind and responsive to the requests of their guests. Villa Myra is a wonderful place to relax and get away from it all. We will see you again next year Gloria, Luca and Isabella

What a pool !What a View!
We are three young at heart if not in years - and we chose Villa Myra based on the pool and location. We were not disappointed in any respect. Our first visit to Sardinia was a joy. Gloria was excellent in communication & welcome. Quick responses to pre- travel questions & booked us a table for our first evening so that we didn't have to worry. The villa is spotless, well equipped, comfortable beds & good showers but Oh! that glorious pool, looking over the headland that took our breath each day. Sunsets, sail boats & birds dipping over head. We hired a car from the airport, but were very happy to walk all around Torre delle Stelle , The villa is up a track & the road leading to it makes an interesting drive, but we found short cut passage steps to the nearest beach, strolled to both supermarkets - so friendly & well stocked & then walked out again in the evening to one of the three enjoyable places to eat or have a sundowner if we were BBQ-ing . It is a twenty-thirty minute stroll, & uphill on the way back - but oh- so smug when we got there and enjoyed another G & T on one of the terraces. We did drive to Genn'e Mari beach as we liked it best, a mere ten minutes in the car & well equipped with beds, brollies & good bar and staff that go out of their way to fulfil your needs - sun beds can be reserved in advance if wanted but they will bring out more beds & brollies in any combination and find a nice piece of beach to put them on. We had a day out in Villasimius, which was attractive & a 'long' walk down to the beach & a very good lunch but in the main, we were so relaxed & happy in Torre delle Stelle that we didn't go further afield. The Lime Beach Café on the local beach is great - Ricki and Uncle Fav will provide coffee & choice of croissant for breakfast, simple lunch or put on a great dinner with good wine, wicked Cubra Libres, fish of the day, seafood, tender steak, pasta & even a 'Romantic Special' dinner on the beach - all backed by great music & conversation. The Palmira is busy & friendly and we enjoyed two meals out there and the Sagittario was so enjoyable because of the lovely Sarah - all the places offered help & advice & suggestions over food choices & especially wine & we discovered some delights & none broke the bank. If you want a truly relaxing break in a villa that looks exactly like its pictures, with the greatest pool in a friendly and unspoilt part of the Med - don't hesitate - Villa Myra!

Perfect spot very quiet
Wonderful house, very clean with everything you need, the position is just stunning with amazing sunsets every night, was a little windy when we got there but soon changed direction and was completely different, the area I think was more quiet than normal as we went last week in May so not much was open and not many people about, did have to drive about lots to find food, and ended up eating from supermarket cooked at home as not many places open early enough for us with little one. But was the perfect spot for dinner in the evening at the house. We even saw some dolphins jumping and playing one evening just off the shore from the house. Was beautiful and hosts were very helpful.

Delightful villa in a stunning location with spectacular views and glorious sunsets.
The villa was located on a quiet hillside with a panoramic view facing west, perfect for watching the glorious sunsets. The property was very clean, stylish and furnished with everything we needed for our holiday. The local beaches were 5 minutes away (driving) and soft sand and warm seas and a beach bar for refreshments. In Torre Delle Stele there was a well stocked supermarket with beer, wine, bread, fresh fruit, vegetables etc adjoining an excellent local restaurant which we ate at most evenings. Gloria was a friendly and reassuring host. We made contact as soon as we arrived and she met us at the villa to show us around the property and explain how everything worked. Villa Myra provided the perfect setting for relaxation and rejuvenation. I miss having breakfast whilst watching the dolphins playing in the bay below. We will certainly return!

Spectacular property
We spent 10 days staying at the villa and loved every minute of it. The villa is recently decorated, clean and well appointed. There are incredible sea views from many different locations around the property and the covered outdoor dining space is the best place to have a meal and a drink whilst soaking in the views. The property is well placed for many incredible beaches, with some on the doorstep. Our favourite was Costa Rei, a 30minute drive. A great beach if you have young kids. Gloria is a great hostess and was available to answer any questions and recommendations we had during our stay. I'd be very happy to go back and stay at the Villa again.

villa myra - a fantastic holiday
our family (wife, 12 year old son and yours truly) rented the house for the whole month of July and found the experience brilliant in every aspect. in an amazing setting and with wonderful views, the house is very comfortable, completely renovated and with great outdoor space. we spent the days going to different beaches (all of them pretty much outstanding) and the evenings grilling and enjoying the sunsets. the house is secluded and very private, yet only a short drive from the two markets, pharmacy and restaurant of torre delle stelle. you need to have a car in order to take advantage of everything around you, especially beach and restaurant wise. the owners are kind and always ready to help. we were extremely happy with the choice we made and look forward to going back. Really enjoyed our stay at Villa Myra. Gloria, the host, was very responsive and service minded. The place was fantastic, especially the 180 degree sea view. Walking distance to closest beach and short drives to other even more beautiful ones. Quite ok grocery stores in the village. Definitely recommend.

Fantastische Villa
Wir (2 Erw. 3 Kinder) haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein sehr netter Kontakt zur Vermieterin und eine wirklich tolle, super ausgestattete Villa mit fantastischen Blick auf das Meer. Wir haben den tollen Pool und den herrlichen Ausblick beim Essen genossen. Die Villa verfügt über ein kleines Haus am Pool mit Bad. Das war für unser großes Kind ein Traum. Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft sehr zu empfehlen! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder..

Villa mit super Aussicht
Der erste Kontakt, die Anfahrt und das Check in waren super unkompliziert. Die Gastgeberin uns für Fragenjeder Zeit zur verfügung. Die Villa ist super schön, mit bequemen Betten uns sehr stielvollen Zimmer und Badezimmer. Der Pool, Garten und die Aussicht sind wohl das Highlight. Die Küche könnte noch etwas besser ausgestattet sein. Ansonsten ist die Unterkunft top. Von dem Strassen im Ort waren wir jedoch etwas überrascht. Es sind sehr viele Naturstrassen mit vielen Schlaglöchern.

Wunderschöne Aussicht
Das Haus hat mehrere Sitzmöglichkeiten im Aussenbereich mit tollem Blick über das Meer. Alles da was man braucht! Man sollte unbedingt ein Auto zur Verfügung haben. Tolle Pizzeria in der Nähe "Ferra by Aquarium" Sehr netter Kontakt!
