"Good looking classic hotel with good amenities (gym, pool, bar etc.), overlooking ocean and nice history - over 100 years old. First time I’d stayed there and only negatives: there was very little atmosphere - restaurant and bar were almost empty each night. Perhaps due to the political issues in Mozambique at the time, there were less travellers. More annoying was breakfast though - after the first morning (which was typical breakfast buffet), they changed without warning to a table...

"Amazing property. Great customer service, walking distance to everything, great modern amenities, amazing pool, great room service, etc. I can go on and on. I felt extremely comfortable and safe at this property. But most of all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. This hotel had everything. And they upgraded me for free to the residencial side which is much better and has nice balcony overlooking city. Will definitely stay here again whenever i am in Maputo!"

"Very bad experience. The duvet was soaking wet and I complained, the person in charge said they iron it with steam and that’s to be like that. Drunk couple fighting on the corridor the whole night waking everybody up and knocking on doors at 5 o’clock in the morning. Overall cleanliness very bad. Breakfast doesn’t include coffee.
