"Everythin good "

"The property is larger than I thought. Check in was quick. English speaking staff were very obliging. Restaurants vary from outdoor, courtyard, formal dining room. Large swimming pool on the ocean. Located close to bus stops to take you downtown, wallmart, home depot, Sam's, restaurants, etc. We stayed on the property except 1 trip downtown. Room was newly furnished and clean. Tables by the pool to sit and enjoy sunsets and the freighters. This is where we will return when visiting Manzanillo next year."

"Overall a well maintained resort. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool (several pools) Every evening there was a show…we felt the music was a bit loud. The buffet was well stocked with many choices. This is our second vacation at Barcelo’ Karmina in Manzanillo."

"This has been a highlight of my life. I am 65 yrs old and never felt so pampered in. A quaint tiny comfy atmosphere. If you want a spokesperson for your hotel I volunteer. My only conplaint is that there are not enough rooms. It is hard to find a time to book. Great job everyone. Touches like having rope twined around the towels!!!"

"We had a wonderful stay on this property! The staff are so friendly and accommodating and just overall wonderful. I had an issue during book and was charged twice by Hotels.com, and they were as helpful as they could be and really helped sort out the situation. The suite was wonderful and perfect for our family. They were clean, and spacious and each room had a/c units so that we were all comfortable. The kitchenette was well stocked with pots, plates and utensils, and there was a full 6-person dining table along with a couch and TV. The real star of the show was the view. It's absolutely stunning. You see the coast and can hear the waves crashing on the shore. It's amazing. The only thing is the drive up to the property. The street is still cobbled and because it's on a hillside, it's a little steep on the way up. There's also a particularly sharp turn to get onto the property, and it's kind of a tight space. Other than that, it's such a beautiful and comfortable property. You're literally minutes away from the beach. I think this would be perfect for longer stays, however, we only stayed for 2 nights. However, I cannot recommend it enough. I truly hope to visit again at some point."

"The hotel was in a nice area. Staff was nice the only thing is that if booking through Expedia breakfast is not included. The rooms were clean just needs a little extra in bathrooms."
