Great place!
The house was very clean and spacious. There were plenty of amenities left for us to use. It was a very convenient place to stay. It was located close to town, so we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Natalie, the guest host, was extremely pleasant and great to work with us on our requests. I highly recommend it. The house and location were perfect for our stay. We will be back next year!

Visit with the kids
We had a great time-enjoyed the place ! When we arrived-the frig door wasn’t shut tightly-so we noticed the seal was loose! We pushed it back in, but you may want to have someone check it out!!

CUte place
The kids loved the running lights in the bedroom. Had to hand wash dishes, which was no problem, but there was No dish rack, which was problematic. The light switches are in odd places. All of this is VERY minor quibbles. Loved the stay and the location, which was between Cadillac and Traverse City. Would definitely stay again!

Great spot in a small town
This house is a 45 minute drive to Torch Lake and a 1 hour drive to the Sleeping Bear Dunes. The drive was easy and went fast. The town is very small and has a cute downtown area. There is a really nice coffee/drink place we walked to called Latitude 44 not far off. There is also a campground right down the road with a lake and a Veteran’s park with horseshoe pits. I’d bring your own horseshoes because it looks like they lock them up the out building pretty early. The bed in the master bedroom was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. I fell asleep and didnt move until I woke up the next morning. There is a massage chair in the master as well which was a nice surprise.

Good Stay, Good Communication
The property was as described in the listing, kitchen was stocked well enough with the basics needed, okay cleanliness, the property manager was very responsive to help us check in when the code didn’t work. Some information (check in code/WiFi) provided upon booking wasn’t accurate but was able to be figured out or provided by property manager upon request. Worked well for the stay we were looking for and appreciate the responsiveness of the property owners and manager.

Terrible stay. Bad house, not clean, poor management.
When we got there the door code did not work, had to use the key in the lockbox as a backup. More importantly, the place was not cleaned. So checkin was not setup and cleaning was not scheduled due to poor management. Last guests also left the place a mess. So when arriving to the stay: -All towels were dirty and wet in a clump in the bathroom. -All bedding was dirty and still on the beds. -Food crumbs were in every room all over the carpet at kitchen. -Trash was not taken out -Food was in the sink along with all the dirty dishes. -There was a broken glass behind one of the couches. -There was a dirty bandaid on the ground in one of the bedrooms. Unacceptable conditions to arrive to. Property manager did manage to get someone to show up and clean. However was done at a half attempt by someone who normally doesn’t clean the place. She barely vacuumed, did the dishes, and tried to just re-tuck the dirty bedding instead of washing. So still unacceptable. Whole first night of vacation was spent cleaning the place ourselves. From my experience, stay away from this place. It was terrible, dirty, and poorly managed. Was promised a refund of the cleaning fee in 7-10 days. At the time of writing review it has been 17 days and still no cleaning fee refund and property manager has not been responding to me.

Property exterior picture misleading
We arrived to find the house looking like it had been abandoned! Trash outside the garage door, overgrown weeds and grass all the way around the house. The door lock pad wasn’t working and the property manager did not know where the key box was located. We found it in the weeded area about an hour later. Internet was not working so working/studying there was very difficult. Evolve (the management company) stated properties should be “hotel quality”, this was not. Thankfully the interior was clean so we made it work but I had to spend several hours of vacation time on the phone trying to resolve issues. Evolve was not much help, neither was VRBO, disappointed with both providers.
