"When we booked this place we spent months excited about it and talking about how cool it would be. And then we got there and it lived up to all of our hopes and more! We stayed for a month and never got tired of the amazing view from the castle to the grounds and from the grounds to the castle. "Better than we expected, just needed this hotel to sleep for a few hours while on the road. There was a fridge and microwave which was perfect for us as we had milk for our 1 year old. Bed was big and comfortable. Clean sheets, towels and soap in the bathroom. Self check-in was fine even at midnight. We had low expectations due to the price, but were pleasantly surprised in the end - this is just a roadside hotel, so it's not luxury but we had a good night's sleep! "

"These type of hotels are hit and miss. I’ve stayed in a lot of them. It was ok for a stopover one night if you don’t expect too much. Basically I just want somewhere to sleep. It all depends on who your neighbours are- unfortunately we had rowdy neighbours who were up a lot of the night making loads of noise with children running around, lots of moving stuff around etc- making no attempt to think of others - so if you encounter that then it’s not going to be good anywhere. "We had a wonderful holiday. The location is in idilic countryside and farmland. There are sheep, cows and pigs all close by. We liked our visits to nearby Conches and Everaux. We were very happy to make a trip to Paris from here in order to see the Olympic football. Our son loved the pool which was kept beautifully. What a wonderful holiday. Thank you."
