"The reception staff were super helpful. The lift worked. Our room was quiet. Walkable everywhere and the Saturday market is on the doorstep. We stayed 2-nights and the parking was super expensive - especially on-street parking outside the hotel - even the receptionist was stunned at the cost per hour. We were advised of a cheaper option at the station but it was still 40Euro for just over 24hours. "

"The couple who run the hotel were very pleasant and tried to be helpful but a great shame we couldn't access the internet anywhere in the hotel, or indeed in a brasserie on the town square. Room was an odd shape and rather cramped. Bathroom needed some refurbishment. Quiet and okay for an overnight stop. Avoid the restaurant which was very reasonable but produced 2 meals which had dried out meat and inedible mushy vegetables."

There were dropped packets of tea around near our room. Also disappointed the restaurant was closed as we had intended to eat there. Surely we could have been forewarned. "

"This is a large chateau. The owner has been restoring the property for over 10 years but it is still work in progress. He is an excellent cook and the in house dinners are a good choice. The breakfast was good. The bedroom was large, clean and very 19th century French. Lovely polished wood floors. Large grounds around the hotel. Free parking."
