"The hotel was in the perfect location for the rail station, which was the reason for booking. The hotel was adequate in regards to their facilities, and the owner was very friendly, which is always a plus. The room was small, but fine for an overnight stay. It was a little bit musty in smell, though probably just needed airing a little bit more. Breakfast was reasonable and I was accommodated for allergies and preference. "

"Well placed in centre of Bakewell. Friendly staff. Nice large double bedroom with en suite. As they don't serve breakfast there were a couple of complimentary porridge pots and breakfast biscuits. Tea and coffee making facilities with plenty of t-bags, milk, coffee and hot chocolate sachets with packets of biscuits. Hallway outside room decoration was looking a bit tired. "This large and very well presented B&B property is ideally situated to visit nearby Hardwick Hall and is just off the motorway. In a safe, rural location, it is purpose built and has plenty of safe easy parking. Our room was spacious well appointed, albeit somewhat functional and lacking decorative touches. The walls are very thin, so our loud neighbour kept us awake most of the night. Breakfast was simple but more than adequate."
