"Unfortunately Expedia's systems had failed to work correctly and although I had a confirmation number for the hotel and been debited for the cost, the hotel had no knowledge of my reservation, however they did manage to find a room and accommodate us."

"Beautiful old building sympathetically converted to a hotel. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. The location makes the Angel a perfect stop for a short visit. The added bonus of Bills restaurant in the hotel is ideal. And a very good breakfast. The only negative is the street noise. Businesses in the side lane setting up tables and chairs made a very noises wake up call very early in a morning. Not the best when on a weekend break and wanting to wake up a little later than normal. Over all...

"Lovely clean accommodation. Staff are very friendly. Free onsite parking is a bonus! Didnt have breakfast but the food area is spotless and breakfast smelt good. Area is in a great location. It got a bit hot in the night even though the heating wasn't on, but other than that we had a good stay and definitely would stay again."

"Just under a mile away from the Horley train station and a short drive to the Gatwick airport. Rooms are spread between the first and second floor with shuttle service and breakfast options available. Minor issues with the room where the shower was not draining properly, but was still able to freshen up. Like most houses in the UK no AC units were available in the room, but the window and time of year provided enough cooling needed for the night. Staff are friendly and the rooms were quiet...
