Nostalgic Lakefront Lodge at Alderwood Resort

The Lodge at Alderwood Resort is a favorite place to escape busy life and relax on Alder Lake in the heart of northern Wisconsin's lake country. Full of charm, character, and cozy magic, The Lodge has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and sleeps 8. Relax in the sunroom with panoramic lake views and wide windows to swing open for the lake breeze. Kitchen has been well thought to offer necessary appliances and cooking ware, along with an eat-in breakfast nook with large windows overlooking the yard. Large living area is at the center of the building with a large wood fireplace. Dining area is in the sunroom, with 180 degree windows for a beautiful view of Alder Lake. Bedrooms are cozy and comfortable. Please remember to bring your own bath and beach towels.

Just a few steps from your door is your private dock on a peninsula on Alder Lake, part of the Manitowish Chain of 10 Lake. Enjoy northern Wisconsin evenings around a campfire in Adirondack chairs, picnic table + charcoal grill included. The Lodge includes use of rowboats, kayaks, canoes, paddles, and swingset.

The lodge was a great place to stay with extended family but ...
One thing lacking is providing bath towels and hand towels in the bathrooms. Even though you are told upfront the lack of towels seems cheap. We get providing your own beach towels but providing your own bath towels is a first for us. The fireplace was great and the firewood was provided. The view was amazing and we loved waking up to the sound of the loons each morning.
