Located in Manilva on the Costa del Sol in the Andalucian region, the apartment is adjacent to Aldea Beach, which is 500 metres (8 mins walking) from the property. There are a number of Chiringuitos within easy walking of the apartment. There is also a convenience store on the roundabout by the main road 200 metres from the apartment. Alboran Hills is located 24 miles south of Marbella and 48 miles south of Malaga airport. The area around Alboran Hills provides five golf courses within 7.5 miles of the apartment.

The top floor apartment features extensive views to the sea, a garden and use of the two seasonal (1 April to 31 October) communal pools (subject to servicing and maintenance requirements). The property has a TV with a multitude of channels in several languages including English. High speed WiFi is provided free. Access to the apartment is by lift or stairs. Underground garage parking or easy street parking are available.

The fully air conditioned (heating & cooling) apartment consists of two bedrooms sleeping four people. One double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, and one twin bedroom with use of the family bathroom. A fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, kettle, microwave, refrigerator, electric oven and hob, sink and a set of crockery and cutlery etc. The lounge dining room has a table and chairs, book case, and a comfortable sofa adjacent to the TV.

The terrace off the lounge is equipped with a bench seat, table and chairs, with views to the sea. The upper roof top solarium/terrace with all day sunshine is accessed via a spiral stairway is equipped with four sun loungers, and a small BBQ set, with views to the hills at the rear and front East facing to the sea. An umbrella is available in the apartment if required.

Lovely apartment and good location but thin walls let rating down
Lots of positives, so those first… The flat was just as described - well equipped and furnished with everything you could need. The balcony was lovely for breakfasts though we lost the sun about 11am - a blessing in summer I suspect. The roof terrace is great for chilling and sunbathing though a little windy in Feb/March maybe. Plenty of parking options. The location is perfect if you have a little dog as you can walk to the end of the street and you are on paths with trees etc, one will take you down over the walkway to the beach. In Feb/March people are allowed to have dogs on the beach which for us was great. The local beach bars are shut in winter so you will need a car to vosit further afield like Port Dequesa etc. The local towns of Estepona and Sabinillas were well worth visiting with lots of beautiful squares and reasonable eateries. The restaurant Aldea Hills just a couple of minutes walk from the villa was amazing - lovely food and service and just 3 euros for a glass of wine! The negative… the walls are very poorly insulated which meant that in the lounge we could hear the little girl next door who didn’t go to bed till 10 and was quite loud! They also have 2 large dogs that they leave home alone sometimes. The other side - the master bedroom was not so bad but often the couple didn’t go to bed until 1/2 in the morning and would talk loudly and shower just before that.

Positives firstly, nice sea view and pleasant apartment. The negatives though were overwhelmingly spoilt by noisy inconsiderate neighbours, who Joanna the owner, told us are squatters. This i feel should be made known as they could be there for years according to spanish law. There were dogs barking, loud music and people visiting sometimes as late as 0300. Unbelievably they have a motorbike which they would start up on the adjoining balcony causing noise and fumes !! We planned a relaxing stay but spent more time going out than we wanted to because of this. Also the swimming pool was closed and we were not informed by the owner until 2 weeks before arrival meaning we couldn't cancel. This must have be known before so again we feel cheated. There were only 2 of us but family visited on 2 occasions and we had to buy a chair as there was no where to sit. 1 two seater settee so how it says for 4 people I don't know. There were people cleaning the corridors twice weekly but this meant the dog excrement left was there for several days. We also bought cushions for the bench outside and sunbed. Due to all these things we asked Joanna for a partial refund but she refused.

Joannas Apartment ist genauso schön, wie die Fotos es zeigen. Sehr gut eingerichtet, gepflegt und mit allem, was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt am Meer braucht. Auch der Balkon ist gepflegt, sehr gut möbliert und hat einen tollen Meerblick. Das Allerbeste war jedoch die wirklich große Dachterrasse mit den Sonnenliegen. Hier hatte man ebenso phantastischen Meerblick und Sonnenschein von morgens bis abends. Einfach herrlich. Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt in Spanien zur Online-Arbeit genutzt. Das WLAN im Apartment arbeitete stabil und zuverlässig, sogar auf dem Balkon. Da ich nur mit kleinem Gepäck angereist bin, fand ich außerdem toll, dass Seife, Shampoo, Waschpulver, Spülmittel, aber auch Salz, Zucker und einige Gewürze und natürlich ausreichend Handtücher bereits vorhanden waren. Der Empfang durch Terry und seine Frau verlief sehr herzlich und unkompliziert. Und auch der Kontakt zu Joanna war super. Bei kleinen Nachfragen wurde sofort reagiert. Die ruhig gelegene Apartmentanlage, der Garten und die Pools machten einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck. Ich habe es jedoch vorgezogen, bei Sonnenschein zum schönen, langen, feinsandigen Strand zu gehen, der zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen ist. Für mich war es ein sehr gelungener und entspannter Aufenthalt.

Hemos disfrutado muchísimo del apartamento. Poder desayunar, comer y cenar en la terraza viendo el mar por su orientación no nos daba el sol a esas horas o podíamos poner la sombrilla que había era todo un lujo. Hemos estado muy a gusto. Es tal cual se ve en las fotos del anuncio

El alojamiento está muy bien. La situación es estupenda, ya que se ve la piscina y el mar desde la terraza y desde el solarium. El apartamento está completo, tiene sus dos baños, dos habitaciones, salón y cocina. La cocina es pequeña, el frigorífico y el congelador son muy pequeños, pero si te organizas bien, cubren las necesidades. El aire acondicionado en las habitaciones y salón funciona muy bien. El garaje para el coche es otro servicio de la estancia que se agradece por su comodidad y seguridad. En general, muy contento con el alojamiento. Seguramente repita.
