Overall, I very much enjoyed my stay. For an inexpensive, small, 4 story walk-up hotel in a safe residentialighborhood, it's a good deal for your money.
The rooms are large & very clean. The shower is okay and has hot water, but its fairly basic.
The hotel is located in a residential neighborhood across the street from a large Elementary School The area felt safe, especially during the day. To reach a store or someplace to eat or even the laundry, you have to walk five or six blocks in One direction or the other. SM Fairview Mall, one of the largest shopping malls in Manila area, is about a $5 Grab ride away.
There is a small restaurant on the roof. It serves very basic Filipino foods, with some Western selections. It also provides room service for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The staff was outstanding and extremely helpful.
This hotel could be great and receive all excellent ratings with just a few small investments made by the management. For example, it would help if the hotel invested in purchasing bedside lamps. Currently the rooms only have overhead lighting which is controlled by a switch at the entrance to the room. Thus, necessitating one to walk in the dark from the entrance to the bed in the middle of the night. Exchanging the pillows for something softer would also be helpful. I used to joke that the pillows were filled with cement, because they are so heavy and hard. The addition of a small refrigerator and a room safe would also be helpful.
