"We booked this for friends to stay near us. It is a beautiful old home very close to town. "

"There are a number of issues with the listing 1. There are NOT 4 twin bunk beds (8 beds). There are 2 twin bunk beds for a total of 4 beds. 2. Property needs some serious TLC with respect to deep cleaning. cobwebs on chairs in kitchen on cabinets. walls/trims showing bad aging. coffee maker still had grounds from previous renters. food still in grill. trash found in common areas upon arrival. 3. the 4 beds are separate from main house (converted garage) and while it had vents, the main house...

"It was a lovely home. We truly appreciated the direct access to the patio from each room. Plus, having one room with direct access to the living area. Perfect for my sister who is 88 and legally blind. I didn’t have to worry about her negotiating the exterior door thresholds on her own to exit the bedroom. Thank you. "

"Very quiet place, there were no keys but we just took the important stuff with us. It was way back on the property. The beds in the back were 1inch pads so my daughter put them together so if it’s children no worries. If it’s adults they will ok be comfortable. Otherwise very quiet and easy to get to Sherwood Forest Faire. Also quick trip to Bastrop for groceries. "

The hosts have done a fantastic job in creating a cozy, well-appointed space. The location is on a quiet street that is easy walking distance to downtown shopping and restaurants. "Last time I came in December and although I really enjoyed the hot tub, the best time of year is definitely now. I was able to enjoy the hot tub, the campfire, the grill, and the outdoor shower! The lights that surround the cabin are the most beautiful thing there is without a doubt and listening to the sounds of nature is incredible, we definitely enjoyed it a lot!! Owners are really kind and always explain well every detail! Definitely we are coming back (:"
