"The hotel was very classy and clean. It was walking distance to manduria Town with nice places to eat nearby at very reasonable prices. Nicole and Sara were incredibly kind and couldn't do enough to help us with info on places to visit and otherwise. We would return here just because of the wonderful customer service received from them and the lovely hotel of course. Our family room was spacious and had an excellent jetted double shower which our 6 year old couldn't get enough of. The wifi wasnt very strong in our room and dropped out alot so my husband worked from the lobby a few times whilst there. The breakfast was OK for European standards. I would definitely recommend this place. "

"This Villa is just fantastic. It's really as good as the photos and is just a wonderful place to stay. We loved the peacefulness of the location, and the pool is amazing - just the right size for 8 of us. The kitchen is so well equipped, and the living room is really comfortable. Prior to us arriving Miriam - the owner was great in communicating quickly and efficiently in answering queries or advising on logistics of arrival. She very kindly arranged for some kids beach toys to be at the villa as my 4 year old daughter was desperate to make sandcastles on the beach. Similarly, Serina, the local contact for the property was amazing in making arrangements for our arrival and despite our late arrival (after 2am due to delays of flight and a long queue at the hire car place) waited for us to arrive and was wonderful in getting us checked in and making sure we had all we needed. Serena was always quick to respond to minor questions on how something worked or queries with the bins etc. She quickly (like within hours!) got us some bases for the umbrellas so we could sit round the pool in some shade. The location is rural and you definitely need a car to enjoy the area. We went on various day trips to Lecce, Locorotondo & Alberobello, and Matera, all of which I would recommend. We went to the beaches, but it was the shoulder season (late May) not everywhere was open. We loved Casa Ban and I recommend it without any hesitation. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!"

"Li Reni è un resort bellissimo immerso nella campagna di Manduria e curato in ogni dettaglio. Marisa e Mario vi hanno soggiornato apprezzando la fantastica struttura, la qualità del personale sempre gentilissimo ed una cucina gestita da uno chef di talento. Abbiamo lasciato Li Reni con tanta ammirazione e nostalgia. "

"We are not novices to tourism-we drove in Turkey, Greece, visited Europe by rail. However, not knowing the meaning of Italian road signs/addresses, combined with unremarkable, high above the road signage for Masseria Nuovo, we drove anxiously up & down the country road looking for its one-lane dirt track turn off among many others along the road. The host simply handed us a key, indicated 8pm dinner. An early afternoon arrival left us hungry due to the property’s unavailable restaurant. We had to backtrack to find lunch. Sava, the nearest town was small & typically closed from 12pm-4pm, finally finding only gelato.The major town Francavilla Fontana was farther away. Our plan for staying at a masseria was to relax from the stress of driving/parking in Italian towns. By the dinner hour, hunger added to our stress. The menu was only in Italian. If you cater to tourists from other countries, you should accommodate their language. Also, the language barrier with the waiter/host was frustrating. The meal however, once decided upon, was adequately prepared. Disappointingly, there were no other guests during our stay. We had hoped to mingle, meet other people. Typical Italian breakfast was suitable. Had there not been the strain of trying to negotiate the region’s unfamiliar roads, customs & language, our experience may have been different, but we didn’t encounter such difficulties with lodging elsewhere in our two week trip in Puglia. As advertised, Nuovo itself was satisfactory."
