"Not the easiest drive up to the place, but the view is magnificent. The place is clean, and the hosts are friendly and helpful. If you're looking for an inexpensive decent studio in Portland with air conditioning, hot water, and a terrific view, consider this place."

"I love that the apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable and had so many amenities. It is close to a supermarket and the beach. I was able to cook my own meal at times and even do laundry if I wanted to do so.The location is quiet/peaceful. I felt so at home. Hopefully next time I will be able to watch local TV. "

"Heaven Villa lived up to its name, with one of the best ocean views on the island from the infinity pool and the entire back of the place. We enjoyed ourselves to the fullest at Heaven, including spectacular authentic Jamaican meals prepared by the chef for breakfast and dinner, which we enjoyed as a group. The entire staff were topnotch, especially Marjorie who managed the operation and accommodated our every request. We all love her and will forever appreciate her lovely personality and...

"The stay was good. (With the exception of the tropical storm that ruined some of our plans. All mother nature and nothing to do with the property.) A few things can be updated in and around the property but all in all, it was a good stay. I would probably recommend to a few friends for when they head east. Property location gives easy access to main Portland offerings with a feeling of safety as well."

2 night anniversary treat

"Geejam was fantastic the only disappointment was we only booked 2 nights!! Will definitely return for longer next time,on our must return soon list. From the moment we arrived the staff couldn't of been more helpful and friendly. The room was just as pictures show ,we loved the artwork on the walls brought the jamaican vibe alive the view was breathtaking.OMG the food was delicious best oxtail and jerk chicken we have had. The swimming pool was great so warm and yet again the view WOW . Thank you Geejam( Steve and co)for a wonderful stay can't wait to return "

"What an amazing place! We absolutely loved our long weekend at Great Huts, so much so that we just hung out enjoying the beautiful lush jungle property and adjacent Boston Beach rather than venturing forth to see other sights in the area. This is not for you if you need luxury and a/c, but don’t hesitate if you love nature and being in the great outdoors, quirky artistic hut accommodation, good food and wonderful friendly staff. We especially loved the constant sound of the crashing waves that came with our fabulous Fig Tree hut. Thank you Roberta and everyone else at Great Huts for a truly unique experience."
