It was okay- different color house than advertised
The house is actually a navy blue (which looks really good). It just threw us off because we were looking for a cream house when first arriving. The landscaping could have been better. The grass was super tall and just needed to be maintained. The location was good. We went to Torch lake one day and Mackinac Island another day and it was located well for our travels.

Great home base
We went up north for a little getaway. Used the cottage as a home base to do local activities. We were a group of 2 families and we had 5 kids with us. The loft area was perfect for them. The Kids: 12-16 y.o. all enjoyed the pool at the clubhouse. Need to bring your own towels to the pool. We would stay here again in the future.

A Peaceful Getaway
We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable cabin. We ran into a couple of snags when we first arrived. Nothing major that ruined our opinion of the place or would prevent us from booking again. But I did reach out to the guest contact and never heard back. Overall though, the home was clean and comfortable. Our kids loved having the loft area all to themselves. It really was the perfect getaway spot after the busyness of Christmas!

Adequate accommodations. No frills, nothing above and beyond. Comfortable beds and plenty of pillows to choose from. Garage light did not work, one bedroom comforter had strong fabric softener smell that was too much for a sensitive nose. The refrigerator made an annoying random sound like ice maker unloading but had no ice maker. Batteries dead in wall clock. Deck appears to need replacing. Just a bunch of small things that would have been nice to not encounter.. Would still stay here again.

Renters be cautious
Upon arrival we noticed grass was long, not a huge deal. (Owner apologized via email). Garage was a big deal for us parking rzrs at night, but the garage door was broken so no garage. 4 youngish kids so wifi was a bonus, but that didn’t work either. I got it working but it cut out Saturday morning. There’s no screens in any of the windows so if you want a cool night breeze, forget about it. After a long day of riding Saturday we all took cold showers as the hot water didn’t work, and anytime the shower was on the bathroom toilet, kitchen sink, and bathroom sink would make bubbling noise and the toilet overflowed during my wife’s shower. (Clean water thankfully) It was nice to know based on the ad, that there’s a trail RIGHT by the house for quick access, but there’s no ORV signs posted because it’s a snowmobile route. Lastly, we found a ton of wolf spiders in our dirty linen bags when we got home. I kindly mentioned the wifi and garage door to the owner via email, they offered a $100 refund, but we never heard from them after responding, and never seen the refund. For almost $900/3nights, we had higher expectations.

Nice cabin. GREAT location right on the snowmobile trail. Prepare to bring toilet paper, paper towel, laundry soap, etc. Plenty of parking for trailers since you’re on a cul-de-sac with no neighbors. Heated garage where you can hang out. We’ll book again in the future.

House was clean and had everything we needed. Snowmobile trail is right behind house. 5 guys and plenty of room for all of us. 2 bedrooms and loft with 4 beds. Plenty of parking. Heated garage that came in handy getting a sled running that had a broken choke cable

Small by great location
Not the most up to date cabin and they were stingy on supplies compared to other cabins we have stayed at (ex. No salt/pepper or any shelf stable pantry items like cooking oil. Only two garbage bags and no laundry detergent. ) The place has had some updates, but you can tell it wasn't done professionally. However, that does not take away from the overall experience. It was a fabulous location for snowmobiles and four wheelers. Also, it was a quiet cal-de-sac which was fantastic for a family with young kids! We will definitely use this cabin again.
