"The Barahi jungle Lodge is a beautiful place, I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a bit of luxury in Chitwan! A few highlights: -Their commitment to sustainability is exceptional. For example, most of the food is grown on site, and they've effectively done away with single use plastic - The service!! This is old school hospitality. Anything you need at all, someone is ready to help. They surprised us with a complimentary bush dinner one evening (such a cool experience, would recommend)...

"Not too exciting, there was no one at reception or to help with the luggage when we arrive. Staff not too excited to serve guests. Our driver and guide had issues with their accommodation, they were asked to pay for that. Nothing much to see in surrounding as well. "

"This hotel is excellent in both location and hospitality. The staff are all incredible—friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The room was nearly perfect, with the only issue being the water pressure in the shower, which could use improvement. Hotel organised all our trips :- jeep safaris, river canoe, elephant riding and breeding centre. Hotel has a nice inside restaurant , outside bar and pool. "A charming period building with some really good features and unusual rooms! Prepare to get VERY cold and feel VERY damp during your stay, it’s really OVER priced, NO heaters available and staff offer a backpackers feel and not at all $100 feel, a fire was lit downstairs but it attracted all the staff to sit around it and some people from outside that left us not able to even see the fire....I had to ask them to move to get a little heat while we ate...not worth the money, but the building is...

"Just a few min walk from the center and right by the viewpoint. Nice big clean room, incredible views, safe area. Very helpful staff and the hotel manager goes out of his way to help (I needed a private taxi to go to bandipur and wanted a jeep as it had rained a lot - he organised it perfectly and at a good price). Breakfast is a bit average (like most places) but correct and filling. I would absolutely go back and recommend! "

"The staff are very polite and accommodating. My safari adventures were well run and the naturalist (Nabin) was so knowledgeable that I even got to spot a tiger! Not many people get to see one. I highly recommend this place. I stayed in one of the well appointed safari tents overlooking the national park. We could even hear a rhino at night munching away under our tent! "
