Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. We decided to check out the area on our way home from a road trip and stay one night in Mammoth Lake. This property was rather confusing to find (name outside didn't match). We had a unit with a balcony but it was rather noisy with shuttle busses and construction traffic (this apparently was an "upgrade" because it was a 2 bedroom when we booked a 1-bedroom...rather unncessary). The hot tub nearest our building was under construction, but we did use the one closest to the lobby. The unit itself was fine but showing a lot of wear. We did eat at one of the restaurants attached to the resort and it was fine but crowded. Several of the options were not open or seemed permanently closed. We opted to eat breakfast in town on our way out. The town seemed cute and probably quieter than it would be in ski season.
