Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. Daily closures can also occur during periods of inclement weather in spring and fall. The Eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park is located 45 minutes from Mammoth Lakes. Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. The property is a nice property in Mammoth. However, we stayed in the actual Lodge building and the lodge is very old and very noisy when people are walking up the stairs or in the hallway. It sounds like they’re walking right in your room.

Amazing stay in one of the cabins. A sprinkling of snow made it all the more perfect and although the cabin was small, it was warm and comfortable. The gas log burner in the room was a joy.

Beautiful location Furnace thermostat in Cabin C8 was not very accurate. Temperature varied up to 6 degree /- from thermostat setting. Bring slippers! Bare floors got really cold.

Lodge with 100 year old history
Lodge is in a beautiful location fronting the lake and lots of hiking/biking trails. While furnishings are dated and old, the cabin is clean and heater is a nice touch. We booked a room with private bath but got upgraded to a cabin which was a pleasant surprise. Although the drive up to the cabin is bit steep for our van :) Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay even just for the night and looking forward to come back.
